I am asking for tghe Plans yuou said you would give away.....I have checke3d all of your videos and postings and not one of them have your plans in detail at all, to be able to make on of your pumps......Please send me the plans at jameshankel@hotmail.com Thank You!!!
Smooth hose is not as flexible and causes problems. Corrugated hose will collect small amounts of gold, so be careful when disconnecting. You may try letting it dry in the bucket and find a little surprise later!
Why use corrugated hose vs a smooth hose? Noticed clogging of fine material in the corrugatedhose hose. Any info would help. Thanks for the great pump it worked well and found the yellow stuff.
i would love the plans. I started making one but my only problem is the check valve what king do i use and where to buy the. Please send me the free plans
I bought a kit a few weeks ago and have found it to be very useful in getting in the deeper cracks and holes in the creeks here in S.C. All very smal flakes so far.
As mentioned below my problem is with getting the bucket top on and off. Needs to have latches or other fasteners to make it easier to get into.
First one that worked well for me. I have bought from different folks and this one actually works. Only problem is getting the top off the bucket, and the one I bought just like this one, the top split trying to get it off. Other than that a good rig.
This is a great idea! Especially in CO in places like Cleer Creek where there is lots of fine material wedged under larger rocks that would normally require a several thousand dollar dredge to get to.

Good if you snipe in the right place. Goes deep, takes alot of effort to get yardage. Water is always too cold in Colorado.

I've tried pumping direct but the pump needs a baffle or something to even out the flow, and then a controlled water feed but I think it can be done.

Why not pump it directly into the sluice?

How do you keep the pump lubricated? How often must it be lubricated?
BluegrassRiver 2 years ago
Leather plunger cups do not require any lubrication, they absorb enough water to create a seal and lubricate at the same time.

there is a vid that tells you how to make one. the trick is to have check valves, valves that let in water and dirt but dont let it out
