you stay close to your amp, preferably in front of it facing it with your guitar, then have a lot of gain on. Then you should just explore the guitar and find places on the neck that gives you feedback.

Feedback is your amp affecting your pickups, so that the sound loops over and over. That's why you need to stay close to the amp.
