I have quite a few of mousse cake recipes, which use sponge cake or joconde cake as the base, but I gotta translate them first to English and that could take awhile haha

Have you considered of Pavlova or meringue nest? Easy to make, pretty with colorful fruits, and extra yummy with whipped cream

You can also consider trifle or cheesecake

or ZUCOTTO, very very good :))

I take it you are Indonesian? You can surprise her with Lapis Surabaya (Lapis Mandarin) along with the cliche yet wonderful things such as flower, card, hugs and kisses :)
