  • This is a seek peak from our new TV program (see below please) "Van's had the Blues and now he is ok"***on one album, during Mayalls post Bbreakers-to jazz-blues, he was interviewed between songs saying Peter was eighteen.....Mick? one of those two..... Van would know.... not a question.....he could go down the list and hit every guitarist Mayall had and then about the 5 & 7 string guitars he made and played.....when he was in...Kansas..Van dude not Mayall..Mayall hired the guys.. what is up?

  • @cukeeperify Ye know something...ye dig this track a lot and so do I.

    Have a nice day

    Vanu!

  • Poor Peter...

  • We have to give a special regard to Mike Vernon the guy behind the recordind of those songs. What would be the Beatles without George Martin. All great musician need a good recording, without it you are just a good garage band.

  • ever notice when you count the likes and dislikes for blues tunes, there are RARELY any dislikes, now it's matter of spreading the word, people!!! I'm doing my part, have been and still am playing harp and singing for my 42nd year!!! God bless all the great musicians of the past, and to John Mayall for helping spread the gospel

  • John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers!! The great school of Blues!! I have no words to express my respect and admiration!! I got familiar with the songs of Otis Rush because of them!! Total respect

  • i would love to play like peter green and play also a white fender stratocaster and gibson 355 black

  • @josaldinho1883 I know what ye mean!!!!....but you'd better play like you and see whats happening.

  • Kermit!

  • When the Brits were copying Otis, BB King and others why didn't they try to copy Earl Hooker, Eddie Taylor, Robert Nighthawk , Luther Tucker, Louis Myers and Robert Jr. Lockwood? Simple answer: they couldn't.

  • @bobbybluz1 EAT A DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bbnatedogg Sorry faggot, I'm not one of your homosexual brothers. Doesn't spending time on YouTube cut into your shifts at the truck stop sucking dicks in the mens room?

  • @bobbybluz1 Brits can't play blues like originals????? Just copies???? Your just a half-assed copy of your jizz rag of a mother being triple penetrated in the alley behind the bar every weekend just you just have only 2 holes to be crammed full behind the bar pole smoker

  • @bbnatedogg You are so wrong! The Britts jump started our blues run. Ainsley Dunsbar, Mayall, Green, Clapton.............need I say more?

  • @mikenelli57 Maybe you should re-read my post asswipe. I was defending the British Blues against bobbybluz! And by the way bobby, I am a guitar player and I would probably wipe the floor with you son.

  • @bobbybluz1 Yo Mom's a faggot, chump!

  • @mikenelli57 While I'm playing at the Chicago Blues Festival you're going to be playing with yourself. Just another non-muscician Internet loser troll that's never played a gig in his miserable, pathetic life.

  • @bobbybluz1 You can eat my shit, punk assed faggot shithead! You know nothing!

  • Fuck you, faggot-assed fool! You know nothing asswipe! Guess again about me, and maybe you'll guess right and win a big one of your very own......sperm lips!

  • @mikenelli57 He guys come on...I know this is an open forum...but get your frustrations elswhere..this is about music...

    not who's a faggot...a cocksucker....an asshole...a motherfucker and whos fucking who!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..FUCK YOU..LMFAO!!!!!!!

  • With all due respect to Peter Green (I'm a fan of his) nobody does Otis Rush like Otis Rush. Mayall in an OK vocalist, Otis is amazing, Green is a very good guitarist, Otis wrote the book on the style he does (Albert King came later). The Brits may have brought attention back to the real creators of the Blues but they can't play them like the originals.

  • Yeah, you picked the right version here as there are many versions available on cd's where Mayall's voice was double-tracked by ADT (automatic double tracking) and then one of the vocal tracks was "mistreated" by a flanger. Sounds horrible. The track you used sounds just like the original single (Decca F12621).

  • Killing. Greeny was sooooo good. Mmmm.

  • Think I just got over excited!

  • Blood Money

  • Y'know, I've heard several Otis Rush tunes covered by Peter Green. I don't know how I overlooked this in my search. This is a wonderful cover

  • peter green. at one time the best blues guitarist.

  • @weedaj Youre welcome en groeten van Nederland terug!!!

  • @Jenscool Youre welcome JC...I was in my teens when I heard this track for the first time...I instantly changed my thoughts about my career ..like I ever had some..lol...but I knew it was useless to become a professional guitarist..lmao!!!!

    Take care my friend.

    V.
