  • Oh yeah killer project btw...

  • I would love to know how to wire up 5 runs of 4 and each box run at 8ohms from a home theater receiver.. Add in the Dayton 1000w 15" home theater sub kit and my dream theater would be complete..

  • woah, that's crazy! even with just 1 out of 8 towers at 1.7 watts per driver!

  • Fuckin hate trying to get rid of those damn progressive adds. I click that (x) about 7 times before im like fuck it, looks like im looking at Flow for a while...

  • sounds cleaan

  • now i have to buy those other sonys from partsexpress because that sounds phenomenal!

  • wow, that sounds fantastic. Better than I expected. But then I figured it would sound good otherwise you probably wouldn't be wasting your time with this.

  • You always have awesome music choices.

  • LMAO the crystal method i believe that artist is or something like that been a LONG time since iv heard it!

  • That's lookin real nice!

  • Sounds good!!

  • Awesome! Might consider building my own for fun :)

  • dam sounds clean gotta ask how have you got them wired and what was there whats the final impedence i wanna do a home theatre system but trying to work all the wireing first

  • Very nice

  • damn that sounds great for what they are and how much power you have going to them. makes me want to do something like this

  • How did ya wire so many speakers to 1 channel? Lotsa series circuits?

  • Cool and clear

  • cystal method ftw

  • who needs walls? stick it to em!

  • nice!!! iv been wondering when these would be finished up :)

  • very cool diy project

  • What is the overall Ohm reading of the tower?

  • @mobius1ace5

each end is wired to .5 and in this video each end is wired series to 1 ohm. When all is said and done the final ohm load at the amp I am going to use for all 8 will be 2 ohms

  • @singaboy311 be careful using a home theater amp at that low ohms... but I am sure you already knew that ha ha!

  • @mobius1ace5

I can't go beyond are certain volume without it cutting out. I did it more or less with this receiver because I didn't care (it was an insignia that costed me 40 dollars off ebay)

  • Nice. That is bananas. I can't imagine the dynamics you'll get from the system when install all 192. That would be very capable of reproducing orchestra music or hosting a block party. lol good shit bro

  • Its seems as if u are gonna be pissing everyone with in a mile of u in all directions!!! Now there extreme vocals to go with the multiple 160db+ vehicles. Poor shop!! They came out great man good work and all that other stuff. Am I the first one to say good job...fingers crossed

  • dude that shit is crazy as hell im going to do that now with 6x9 ;-)

    10/10 A***

  • Sounds pretty damn good without any major power or tuning. You goin to be using a power supply and headunit with an amp to run everything when finished?

  • sounds good! are they running full range? I would let em do 200Hz and better. And then My sub, my sub, my sub, I put that on my sub.

  • @gfhnk

full range. I will take the time to cross things over etc. once it is all done. On some real power! : P

  • your neighbors are going to LOVE you haha. get a bunch of subs so you could throw mad parties in your garage

  • @shaveddave

The building holds sound pretty good.

  • looks good. sounds like they hit pretty hard already

  • Is that 40 rms devided on 24 speaker? If so, it sounds great!

How much power will they have when your done with the projekt?

  • @DanneVolvo

yes it is. I will be sending a double the RMS power to them when I am done (roughly around 20- 25 watts per speaker)

  • @singaboy311 20-25 rms per spekaer sounds like enough. But duoble the rms you said, and you have 40 now. 40x2=80 and you have 24 speakers, 80/24=3,3. So how dod you count? :) Just curious, love you towers! Now you need to find like 8 extremley cheap 18" and build a sub :D

  • Damn nice tower !!!

  • @1boostup

Thanks but it is not really going to be a tower when I am done.

8 of these will be mounted in the top corners of my shop
