After nearly 50 years this series is still compelling. There were a few clunks here and there, but the body of work that mission impossible leaves is outstanding. Right to this day, major motion pictures continue to be made based on it. It says a lot about craft of the old Desilu productions. Both Star Trek and Mission:Impossible (and others too) have endured far longer than rival television productions from the 1960s. It is clear these programs have stood the test of time.
I think the episodes of seasons 6 and 7 are quite good but not the best...
