I have been watching the show for the past month starting with episode one of the first season and i just ended this episode of season 4 and ill i can say is THAT WAS THE MOST FUCKED UP CLIFF HANGOVER I HAVE EVER FUCKING SCENE.

It made perfect sense. It's meant to show that Jesse's becoming even more confused over which side he's really on. Kill them, save Walt in the future. Spare them, doom Walt. BUT he doesn't want Walt dead. He's keeping Gus from killing him by threatening not to cook.

How I wish this season will end: Walter and Jesse somehow gets to a friendly relationship and in some way gets rid of Gus, and Walter becomes Heisenberg whom doesn't fear anyone, Hank dies... hmm, Skyler gets fucked, I hate that whore.

I think Jesse will finally kill Gus, by the end of the series. Or Gus will die in some other way. Mike was abandoned maybe he'll turn to the good side - the side of Walt and Jesse. It's a pity - I kinda liked Gus, his conflict with Walt wasn't shown very natural. In real life people don't behave that way. They talk more and explain more. How come they didn't understand Walt in fact prevented Hank from exploring the laundry facility. And the old case with Victor. Good tension but all so unnatural

This show doesn't fuck around. I feel that the writers won't be afraid to kill off ANY of the characters, including Walter and Jesse. I think by the series finale, one of them will be dead, and i believe Gus will be killed as well.

But then again, anyone (even Walt's infant daughter, apparently) could be killed off.

And there are enough heisenburg moments like "i am the one who knocks" and when he attempted to kill gus but he is surrounded by more powerful people.

Skyler's essential to the story since she causes a massive amount of collateral damage.. She's annoying because she causes a serious amount of damage and doesn't see fault in her actions.

Without her the show wouldn't nearly be half as intense. This episode, case in point.

Also, If you don't appreciate story, I suggest you find another show to watch.

Though he wants to protect Walther, still have created some kind of relationship with Mike and Gus, specially Mike. He have never achieved anything, and suddenly someone needs him.. Any man woud be tempted to make 8 mil a year.. Not everybody would be naive enough to believe they would make it out alive, but still many would.It's not bad writing when characters makes human mistakes, it's bad writing when characters always do the right thing to do..

I think she's improved a lot. I seriously couldn't stand her when all she did when she was in the room was judge everything and everyone, especially Walt (throwing him out of HIS house etc), and stick her nose where nobody wanted it. Now she can't really say anything. She's taking Walt's money and is just as crooked as everyone else (even more so).

Gus is not going anywhere, especially now. Who would distribute the drugs? He owns north of the border. It would make much more sense, and always has, for Walt and Gus to reconsile. They won't repeat the same storyline every two seasons--off tucco, set up the next drug dealer, off gus, set up the next drug dealer, it's too predictable. Gus may have medical or police issues that keeps him from acting as boss, but Walt will not suddenly buy the resturant chain-Gus will remain the distributor.

I'm guessing Hank gets killed off in the next episode, probably by Walt, and possibly by the ricin. It would be a pretty bold move by the writers, but I wouldn't put it past them.

I think that Gus is definitly going to die at the end of this season. Walt and Jesse will reconcile hopefully. Then being that next season is the last consisting of 16 episodes one of two things will happen.1. They will introduce one more final villain that is way worse than Gus is for Walt and jesse to deal with. 2. Which I prefer with Gus dead Walt fully takes over Gus's business with Jesse as his 2nd. Then a villain with his own organization comes and Heisenberg goes to war

Confusing though as they could have just poisoned Jesse too. The first guy comes from the side of the car, the second a bit later from the front. I don't think Mike raised his gun for the guy at the front as he wasn't there at the time.

@Sidowse I've heard this argument on the AV Club as well, I seriously think he was just aiming at the front of the house (the most likely place for bad guys to appear) as he got into the car and Jessie was walking in that direction so he could walk around the car and get into the passenger seat. Its just an odd camera angle as well. You're reading too much into it!

On his death bed Mike tells Jesse he got the call about Jane in the middle of the night. Finale is Jesse choosing between killing Walt and Gus. Kills Gus. Next season is Walt v Hank. Skyler dies. Hank shoots Walt. Hank and Marie adopt Walter Jr and the baby. Jesse ends up either a mob boss or on death row

1) It made more sense to me that they would include a shot of Gus with his face concealed by a bag in the hospital, rather than a shot of some random doctor.

2) His skin-tone is similar to Gus's. And considering that only his ear is seen in the preview, I was going by what little we could see.

It had to have been Tyrus, there aren't any other ppl in the U.S. who have observed Walt cooking, right? It didn't look like a hospital when they were bringing the stretcher out, so it could be a cartel place. Either way, it's exactly like a hospital. What about Jesse's facial expression at 0:24?

He seems shocked at something he's looking at, but he could also look that way if someone just gave him the news that Gus died.. Either way, it looks like the best episode of the series.

The series is advancing to Walt wanting to be more than just a cook, wanting power and to be a leader. Something similar is happening with Jesse, and the only way for them to have the opportunity of power is with Gus dead.

I really don't want Gus to die (I don't want Mike to go either), I think BB underestimated how much we (the viewers) would love Gus.
