Bluetooth uses a audio compression technology called SBC sub ban coding. This technology ..err well didn't we say compresses audio!! So we wont get wire quality period.

Hmm, I do not like the big gaping hole if there is no head unit there though. I would still get a head unit, but use the iPod.
