Yes, Hendrix wrote and recorded Little Wing, but this whole show was the album Layla, all the way through by different Seattle artists. The main riff Clapton (or in this case McCready) play on this version of the song is slightly different than the Hendrix version. Much like Hendrix changed Dylan's Watchtower riff in his version.

Jimi Hendrix originally wrote the song, not Derrick and the Dominos. THey did a cover, but this version is Hendrix's version.
