The writing and acting in Screams 3 and 4 are not anywhere near as good as the writing and acting in Screams 1 and 2. Screams 1 and 2 had good characters, good acting and good writing, something I think Screams 3 and 4 lacks.

For the gore hounds, the first two murders in Scream 4 were pretty ordinary and a bit lame. Nothing gory like the first couple of murders from Screams 1 and 2.

I did like the movie within a movie with Stab 6 and 7 though. Especially the "roommate murder" in 7.
