actually there are many "peaceful" applications for guns. I personally collect vintage ww2 weapons just to own a piece of history. Some shoot for fun such as skeet and trap shooting and then theres the more practical hunting application. Its only the few that use guns for criminal purposes that ruin it for the rest of us.

But the fact that someone of 18 years old can purchase a 9MMhandgun in a shop with only a gun license blows my mind. You say all you want but the USA has had more highshool shootings than any other country and that doesn't surprise me.
