1. @Anneart11 - As far as i'm aware, the people who agreed to appear on the programme weren't paid. An acquaintance of mine was approached -and to her later relief - declined to appear on the programme. The BBC approached their wedding venue for people from the area. I think it'd be fair to bear in mind that these production companies are very clever at the psychology they use to maniputale people into agreeing to these things - free of charge!
