I wasn/t there, had a rugby match, a cup match I may add. Nice to be at that sort of event, but so disheartening to see so many people not swinging arms, such poor uniform, so many people out of step...
I myself am a cadet Drill Commander and I can say without a doubt they are 75% horrible. They need to swing their arms higher, keep them straight etc. etc.
Consider yourself blessed! I'm yet to see a unit in the Australian Army Cadets that can stay in step! I recently instructed on a promotions course, and the standard of drill from potential NCOs... A little bit of me died inside.
I found that many didn't raise there arms fully, nor bring them back behind. T'was good though :D Didn't like that symbol/ triangle music the band was playing though :) lol
come on guys, there out in there local community with a decent sized drum corp ther are doing better than most places...is this a whole county?? our county has 6 companies with about 130 in each. is north devon a small place?
This is just one coy, C coy. It covers the North Devon area, there are 4 companies in our county. C coy is the largest with, I believe, over 200 cadets. C coy also holds the county Corps of Drums.
the drill was allright. i dont know about the band's drummers but the guys in greens your arms should come sholder hight and ther were loads of people out of step!!! sort it
they can march properly a mean i have seen them march in different vids but they are always the same the should have there arms stright and in line with there sholder
well done guys, great effort :)

Very good, bit more practice in drill though maybe next year you'll ace it. All in all very good.
