  • Boris is sooo dreamy :-) pity he's married!

  • Can tmj cause eye strain and sinus problems? I've been to an ent with no help. I have eye strain, sinus problems and jaw aches and dizziness. any ideas?

  • @ukenfy Actually all symptoms you have described , could be results of TMJ dysfunction. I would highly advise to see a doctor for differential diagnosis, and in case if it will come out as an TMJ dysfunction, massage therapy can be very effective.

I wish you to get well fast.

  • @mgaft1 hi; your videos are very interresting, and i hope so that you translate what you are saying in english to a frensh as a subtitling , in order that i can understand you very well , and i con not ,,, thank you

  • More frequently I haven't been able to open my mouth very far. It usually clicks at a certain point, but now it just won't open past that point. Do you have any specific tips to get my mouth to open?

(it's really embarrassing when i'm halfway through a cheeseburger when this happens)

  • @CrosbySinatraAndDean in such severe case ,I would recommend to see a dentist. In most cases, TMJ dysfunction symptoms including significant decrease in joint motion is a result of significant tension accumulations within masticatory/ chewing muscles. No other methodology but massage normalize muscular tone. I personally at least three times a week providing myself techniques proposed at this clip. It does work, one just have to do,

I wish you ,get well fast.

  • CORRECTION: OTC meds, not ocd meds lol. But this sooooo worked! It helped to relieve some of this unbearable pain...i really didnt think anything would help this pain!

  • @SweetGoth thanks again. I'm positive that many people getting benefits but not everyone really realized how important for me to know about successful outcomes. Thanks again.

    Best wishes.

  • @mgaft1 AND also i hope that you make a demonstration af massage to do when we have constipation,,,because i try to do an abdominal massage when i can't go to tha toilett(excuse me) that gives a result but i am afraid that i make a wrong mouvment. thank you sir

  • @neszin1 first of all I'm glad that you naturally fighting constipation, with no consuming medications, as well different supplements. I'm assuming that in case and if you would do some wrong massage movements, then most likely you wouldn't achieve results. Most important is that all movements would be performed clockwise direction. Please visit my channel, and click on abdominal massage play list. I believe you'll be able to pick up some ideas.

    Best wishes.

  • Wow. I'm suffering from this soooooo bad where its just made me miserable for the last week, and I was skeptical that this would provide any relief because ive been taking ocd meds with only a couple of hours of relief. i usually give myself massages that only work to a certain extent but i tried the massage from your video and IT WORKED!!! thank you thank you THANK YOU ! ! ! :D

  • @SweetGoth I'm so grateful to receive message like yours. Means a lot for me. Thank you for taking time to write it. All my long career no results was taking for granted but with appreciation. What I'm teaching and practicing including self massage, was developed by scientists , but never in 100% cases, success should be expected, and thank God, you are in 86% of successful outcomes.

    Best wishes.

  • I hate how all these videos blame TMJ on stress. I have TMJ and I dont have stress. The only stress I have is from having TMJ. I'm pretty sure mine was caused when I got my wisdom teeth removed.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali Most of TMJ dysfunctions are the result of stress, causing tension accumulations in chewing muscles and then a negative snowball effect, including painful clicks, arthritis development, etc. However you are correct. It isn’t always that stress is responsible for TMJ dysfunction. Sometimes autoimmune reaction and/or contusions can be the main cause of it. To be continued,,,

  • @mgaft1 Those that say they dont' have stress are most of the times the ones with the most stress ;)

  • @sirgerry actually today is very hard to find one who do not suffering from stress and side effects from it.

Statistically 90% of doctor visits, is due to stress-related tension headaches, anxiety, sleep disorders,TMJ dysfunctions, abdominal pains and dysfunctions and much more. It must be managed otherwise it can debilitating our lives. Thanks for posting.

    Best wishes.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali ...continued... In your case it looks like before a wisdom teeth extraction your masticatory muscles accumulated enough tension that mouth kept wide open for a long time, was too much for them to handle. In any case massage of masticatory muscles, including trigger point therapy can still help a lot.

    Wish you get well fast.

    Boris

  • @mgaft1 Thanks, sorry if i came off abrasive. Its just that I've been to lots of doctors and they all tell me the same thing that its stress even though I'm a very carefree, stressfree person. I've told many doctors that it was the wisdom teeth removal and they dont believe me. One doctor told me it was because my teeth were crooked. I then went to 3 orthodontists and they all told me that my teeth werent that crooked and braces wouldnt fix my tmj. Thank you though for putting the video up.

  • @JohnnyBoyCali

Actually, I respectfully disagree with doctors denying that process of extraction of wisdom teeth contributes to TMJ dysfunction. As I stated, I believe that your chewing muscles accumulated much tensions previous to extraction, which also implies that they become more sensitive. Wide open mouth activated spindle receptors, which triggered muscular protective spasm. Then in the condition of protective spasm you spend more time with open mouth. ...to be continued ...

  • @mgaft1 Thanks, you actually sound like you care about your patients unlike most doctors. Even though you're trying to be cordial lets face it most doctors are crooks. They see people for a few minutes, charge hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars and then end up handing people pain killers. I respect people like you who actually give people advice and actually do something useful.

  • To me it looks like a significant strain/ trauma to all TMJ muscles. Again massage can help a lot. Just don't expect sustained results after a few treatments. You should do it for some time. Soon I will reply to comments like yours on front of a camera. In such a case you'll be able to understand my position on the subject even better.

    Get well fast.

  • I've been dealing with extreme TMJ/TMD pain for the last month 1/2 after getting dental work. - I just woke up 6am, in so much pain, I had 4 advil in my hand when I thought to search this online, and came across this video. Although these methods didn't kill ALL the pain, I can say it decreased my pain from its usual (10) down to about a (3), it's tolerable. And I haven't even taken my advil yet. Amazing! Keep up the gr8 video's.

  • @Komnini

I am very happy to hear that your pain reduced significantly. It is evident that treatment is working for you. Please do not expect that from one or two treatments you'll get read of all your symptoms. Usually, it takes around 15 treatments. Also please do not forget that we all constantly exposed to stress, and accumulation of muscular tensions, including tension in masticatory muscles, must be managed constantly.

    ... to be continued...

  • ...continued...

    @Komnini

Stress management massage has to be applied constantly, on weekly basis. I believe that before dental treatment, you’ve accumulated a lot of tension in masticatory muscles, which was the precondition for your symptoms and keeping your mouth open for long time caused additional significant strain to it, which resulted in level 10 pain.

    ...to be continued...

  • ...continued...

    @Komnini

It looks to me, that if you would have received massage on the entire TMJ area, most likely you wouldn't suffer from this pain. I mean… keeping open mouth for a long time isn't such a physical load so muscles would be strained. But it would be the case, if these muscles’ resting tone significantly increased/strained. In such a case it would amount to injury. It would be good, if dentists' would consider this preventive measures.

    Get well fast,

  • Great video , i'm suffering from TMJ disorders and jaw popping , and even teeth grinding at night . My dentist gave me a custom night guard for my teeth , but this unfortuanatley does not solve the issue . I will apply your techniques and hopefully it works !

  • Holy crap. I have had TMJ for a year and a half now (because I kept getting past from doctor to ENT specialist, to dentist to TMJ special (who couldn't see me before I moved) so I have not lived a happy life with this. But the popping in my jaw is almost completely gone. I'm Liking this to use tomorrow. Thank you!

  • @DarkRubberDucky I am very happy to learn that you getting better and appreciate my work.

  • @Tremari0 I'm glad you like it. Actually stress negatively affecting our entire health including but not limited

facial muscles.Manage stress now days is the must do otherwise only question of time and one will sustain hypertension, will develop sleep disorders, anxiety , clinical depression etc.Self massage can be very effective to manage it.
