I do feel that you make an assumption at the end here. I've had to walk into a job interview in a 90% black community, for a job with 3 black bosses, to teach predoninantly black students. I was concerned about how my skin color may be preceived. So I think it's an unfair jump to say that just because someone's a white male doesn't mean he never feels racial tension or has anything to worry about. Many white men deal with guilt for things they've never done becuase society smothers them with it.
