  • only action left out here is how you swivel around from your back to the front to access the camera equipment. The entire demo is done off the body. Isn't that one of the key points? other than that informative review

  • I use this bag for my bike rides. I carry a Nikon d300 with a 70-300mm ( only slr gear) a first aid kit, water bottle, bike repair kit and food.

  • If you have canon 24-70mm + 70-200mm and some speedlite.. this bag will be too small for you.. =(. Im finding the lens-hood of these lenses to be such a big problem when fitting in this bag.

  • Allright, very good review, I just ordered one :d

  • thx a lot man .. nice review :)

  • Love that inner opening. Have had my pack opened while walking around SE Asia before. Good stuff.

  • Does the bag gave enough room compartment for setup like this:

    5D mark II + Canon EF 400mm f/4 DO IS + EF 24-105 f/4 L IS + 430EX

  • Great review Mr !! Thanks !!!

  • Thieves will think all night long how to open this bag !!!!!!!

    LoL very nice design :-)

  • Lowepro gives the users very good quality (I've got Lowepro Nova 200 AW bag already). I'm looking for a backpack for my camera now, and i think that I'll spend some money on Lowepro product again.

Very good and informative video, thanks !

  • Very informative and good video. Thank you!

  • Great review!

  • I have the 400,The biggest problem they have with this model is there is no All Weather cover..I would have bought this one aswell

  • hi, do you think i'll be able to pack in a 12.1" tablet PC (in a sleeve) in this bag? i hope someone can answer. thanks.

  • @urbanyogie

a friend of mine has his 13" laptop in the camera compartment. It won't fit if you have a batterigrip on your camera. Otherwise it fits perfectly.

  • @LarsRisom, thank you for the reply. when i couldnt find this bag in any of the local store, i actually bought a case logic backpack and so far so good. thanks again.

  • thanks for reviewing this bag!

  • Just wondering if this would fit a mini netbook?

  • hey guys anyone have any idea if i could fit my sony a200+ battery grip, 18-70 lens, 70-300 lens and 50mm lens along with my 42am flash? need something handy for when i go clubbing with the camera

  • i have the flipside 200. when it arrived in the mail i didnt realize how small it is. i have a 5d mrk ii with 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 50mm 1.2 and 580EX ii flash. I can only fit 1 or 2 lenses, flash and camera. I just ordered the flipside 300 so hopefully it will all fit.

If anyone has a flipside 300 and u got lenses similar sizes to mine please tell me if i would be able to fit all that in the 300.

  • @kolan07 It will not all fit in the flipside 300 (I have one).

  • oh your kidding, i just ordered it and should be getting it in a few days. now ill have 2 useless bags. i guess i should just get the 400 then.

  • @kolan07 Yeah, look, I might be totally wrong, but, with my experience with the flipside 300, I don't think it will all fit...

  • u have turnned me to lowepro bag i was gonna go for a kata but this is way better

  • This bag is the best, it was totally worth the money and it's really good.

  • Just bought this bag!

  • I have been contemplating the Flipside 300 or the Fastpack 200. I am purchasing a Sony Alpha330 with the kit 18-55mm, the 55-200mm, and the portrait lens. I wasn't sure if it would all fit into the 200 bag. This video really helped me decide. I'm definitely going with the Flipside 300. You really can't beat a great bag for only $75.

  • Thank you for your video. Nice description, it helped me to chose my bag.

  • so does this bag have fast access? i mean i want to go with the fastpack but idk if it has the security factor?

  • Nice video It helped me a lot on info for my flipside series!!!

  • Great, well spoken and informative vid.

    Cheers dude.

  • Such a great bag...is it weather proof?

  • could you fit a vx2000 camcorder i there along with batteries and other camcorder accesories?

  • no you cannot fit a vx 2_00 in this bag....go with the loweproe mini trekker

  • Мужик, а я тоже такой суперский сумка хочу! Где дают? Продай,а? :)

  • ummm english? lol jk :)

  • Guys, i want this great super bag too. Where can i buy it?

  • such a great bag! I got the 200. great quality!

  • AWESOME hear i just purchased the 300!

  • I like to shoot wildlife and nature is this a good camera bag for me?

  • Comment removed

  • I like this bag and the tripod mount, and the good security. The Lowepro fastpack 200 is most likely the bag i will get-it has a separate top compartment.

  • rocks..

  • I bought this bag last week for traveling. This bag is the best for me. My gears for traveling are D2X 2 lenz, tripod.

  • I've been considering the Rover AW ones, but this one is the one I will go for.

  • whats the best way to carry a slr camera when cycling. I thought about chest packs. ANy camera bag is still just a bag regardless of whethger you walk or cycle. I though about a padded camera sleeve inside a camelbak but then you bag inside another bag which i hate as having to remove things inside another bag within a bag

  • I would say this bag for cycling. It is secure enough so that when you ride it's not hiting your side everytime you pedal..

  • Great video - its made my decision easier I am buying one...

  • u forgot the mesh pocket on the side that holds another SB or perhaps a water bottle. i love how the mesh is non-transparent.

this is such a good travel bag, in my opinion.

  • great review. but i missed a few more words about the waist belt turn-over thing.

  • Really good review! Thx and greetz from Germany :)

  • Good review, thanks.

  • This sealed the deal for me buying the flipside 300. I was looking at the flipside vs the slingshot. Thanks!

  • thanks very informative

  • very informative, thank you

  • O yes, and thanks for the reviews, it was very helpfull.

  • Hello, im a a new photography student and am looking for a good buget bag to cary some small gear with me to school and for travel.

    Ive got two questions

    1. would this bag be to big to acomidate my two small film slr's? (cannon eos rebel film 50/5.6) and (pentax spotmatic sp-f with 50/1.4 lens)

and 2. Why are a large majority of photographers such assholes. I ask this because many of the fourms ive been to and comments I see on youtube from photographers are sort of mean lol.

    Peace

  • Dunno how those cameras look (how big they are IRL).. many sites that sells bags often write how big the bags are.. Measure your gear and then look what specific bags that your gear will fit into! :)

  • Thanks for the feply Mix001. I might get this bag later on but I just recently bought a lowpro nova something. It fits great! Again thanks for the help

  • majority of photographers such assholes? wat u mean? you tubeusers are mostly teen n mean imature people. they r not serious phtographers.seriously photographers don't spend time on forums n youtube except when they want to buy something n want to research on it.

  • thanks for your helpful review ;)

  • No HillBill the 350D is a toy.

  • The 350D is the Canon for the person that can't afford a Canon. :p

  • Why do u say that? Ur mommy and daddy bought u a Mark III?

  • I bought 1 today and its got my d80, 18-135mm and 70-300mm vr in it. It has some more space for extra lenses. The best part about this bag is that you can attach tripod at back, many bags dont support it.

  • Real lenses and a real camera? What's a real lens and camera to you?

I have a 350D, 50mm, 17-50 and 70-300 lenses (still have room for another lens and flash) and they fit perfectly in this bag. It's a really nice backpack.

    By the way, good review!

  • Oh, i see... So any other camera and lenses are toys and are unreal just because they are not L lenses or Full Frame camera? I think the one who needs get real is you and get a bigger bag.

  • Well. Now i know the reason of your comments. You are a "real" idiot, it's useless to argue with you. See ya.

  • You're the one who started it all, saying that 350D is not a "real" camera. In fact, is one of the best reflex ever made for enthusiastic photographers. Somo professional photographers use a 5D + 350D for resource, so I think you should stop saying those things. ;)

  • @Klarths I agree on all points, but honestly cheap lenses feel almost like well made toys. Probably a whole lot tougher though.

  • Nice review but put a real camera and real lenses in the bag.

  • Thanks, enjoyed the video. Very helpful

  • very cool ----but its too small for my needs ---make a flipside 400 --and ill buy one

  • thank you very much, it helped a lot
