I thought I would never see this ...I was hitchhiking in 1995 and camped on the grounds, in the woods. definitely an experience...there was a statue to commemorate the world's biggest milk producing cow, evidently, the patients tended a master garden and raised cows. do you know anything about this ?

I visited the asylum in July 2009. It is unbelievable. Awesome.
