  • the only problem with Interpreting is you are hearing to languages at the same time and it sound like you are mumbling. the only different is there is a delay

  • @apsjr1 That IS simultaneous interpreting. In a courtroom setting the court interpreter will be very close to the Spanish speaker so as not to disturb the proceeding. Some courthouse provide a microphone and headsets so that the interpreter's voice is barely audible to others. The interpreter here is demonstrating in the same language (correctly called by him as 'shadowing', which is a great technique for beginners).
