Shockwave with the high voice was recorded when Gabe was just 15.... now Gabe's voice changed a lot, so he can't sing the high note songs from their album 'light from above' well anymore... But the voice changes did good things too... now Black Tide makes different kind of music, like honest eyes, bury me, and the recent Walking Dead Man. By The way, that fire (also a new single) is coming out TOWORROW!!

oh i know why gabriel always sings this song an octave lower live. its because in the realv ersion this song is in G . and here hes on E standard tuning, so the song is a whole step higher and singing the way he did on the album would be even higher

but this isa different type of music than avenged sevenfold. When a7x started they had a "new" sound that it took some people getting used to. Thats why they didnt get "all they hype". These guys(black tide) have an already done sound but its like new to hear it again. Thats why they get so much hype.
