  • My IRN Keiko plays like this with my GCC Kiwi. You'd be surprised who gets the upper hand most of the time....

  • I have a black-headed Caique. Mine is so playful & will shred up anything he can get his beak on! They are so unique & cute!!

  • Cockatiels are great first time birds, the best .Parakeets are much smarter tho..

  • @pismo10 Parakeets are smarter as in easier to train to step up to your finger and such? I am a beggener and looking to get a parrot very soon.

  • @Matthew3590 A cockatiel is probably easier to train because they are friendlier and not as independent as parakeets.

  • @pismo10

No, it's the parakeet. I own a bird farm

  • @fairfresh Parakeets are so much smarter they may be easier to train, but because of it, they tend to have their own agenda.

  • Just gorgeous birds. I love Caiques!

  • caique = senegal parrot?

  • @NukeDiablo Nope. Caiques are South American, not African.

  • why is a caique not a good beginner bird ?

  • @afrogsfantasy

    Their personality CAN become unpredictable.

  • @afrogsfantasy They can be very rough with owners, they need a lot of play time, they will chew things up if you let them and will pinch your fingers and neck, so if your not used to that kind of thing...you need to stick with just your basic petshop birds

  • @afrogsfantasy Caiques are funny playfull birds however they are know for their (unpredictable) mood swings. From nice fluffy bird into a bird from hell in a split second. They need a firm and experienced ownder to keep them in line.

  • I heard Michael Vick just got one of these parrots. I only hope he wasn't inspired by this video. :(

  • Thanks so much for your cute video! I never knew caiques could be so rambunctuous and rowdy! So cute! Really loved it! I love how they wrestle with you. And hop like kangaroos! Really neat birds!

  • They fight like roosters.

  • I HAVE SEEN SO MANY VIDEOS OF THIS KIND OF BIRDS DOING TRICKS THAT I BLIEVED THAT WILL PLAYING CHESS..

  • how much is a baby caique and where is the best place to get one?

  • I think thats caique kick boxing. Awww like their little snuggies in their toys. too cute~

  • they look like they are wearing Tshirts, lol... cute

  • i wanna know if a white bellied caique breed with a black head caique ?

  • @rainbowyou i believe they can.

  • @baskyn544 thank u i really thinking about getting a parir soon since they look very playful

  • What a lovely couple of playful parrots - we have a white bellied caique - he/she is so lovely and plays all day long - he is into everything! love the way your parrots interact with eachother! Very rumble tumble birds!

  • I have a male caique that shares a cage with two sun conures and one cocktatiel. i would like to get another caique so he can have someone to roughhouse with. the others are not up to his level of fun, especially the female cockatiel. i just wish he wasn't as aggressive. Unfortunately, they're too loud for an apartment, not to mention my african grey in the other cage. there's no way i could get another parrot.

  • These type of birds are actually better off in pair, IMO. They are full of life and the love to go after each other, so long as you play with them and get them young they will be just fine as a pair, but these are BAD birds to have for a first parrot...you should really have some past with parrots before buying a caique

  • @Huggerocamaro I completely agree that they are best in a pair. When I bought my white bellied caique, Ava, from the store, my boyfriend bought her sister, Sheik shortly. We live in an apartment, and they are completely quiet since they occupy each other and play with each other (which is critical since we can't have any complaints from neighbors). I believe Ava would be extremely loud and always screaming for attention if she didn't have her sister.

  • is that a pair ? i want to get a pair but i have heard thay are not as friendly as a single bird is that true ?
