I cannot agree more! In addition to export to New Zealand, Ford should export to places where large family cars are loved, such as South Africa, Dubai and North America. Ford would make truckloads and keep local industry going and consumers overseas would get a superior product. Its all win-win.
Falcon AUs are great cars, the BA BF and FG xr models are all beautiful but give credit where its due, the falcon AU has a really strong long lasting engine. A great running car.

i read the road test Blampa, the testers where impressed g6e-t did low thirteens over the qaurter with the automatic in drive with aircon running with no effort, good for a big low stressed family limo, looking forward to an fg upgrade myself, it will be a shame to lose the big straight 6 in 2010, it seems to be the best australian ford ever built here, the yanks would kill for the fg i reckon, why aren`t we exporting them ?. them .

Two weeks ago I picked up my G6E-T, and I still can't stop smiling. Seriously, if you want a good laugh, go and test drive one. The funniest thing is that as a six it is faster than any HSV, and it's a luxury car. Go figure. I can honestly attest, Holden's DON'T go better.

Taxies also use Falcons because they have the E-Gas engine. Holden only offers dual-fuel.
Toyotas are just uncomfortable and shit to drive, so nobody in their right mind would want an Avalon or Aurion as a taxi.
Falcons are also the best sedan for towing. Great low-end torque. Effortless.
