4:02 - no correction for cross wind at all, landed sideways, went off the runway. The fiberglass fuselage broke like a twig, engine just ripped off. 8:18 - amazing he survived that.

Jon Sharp is smart to retire; Jimmy Leeward at 74 should have retired?

They killed the sport class for people with RV's, Glasair II's, Lancair 360's, less exotic race planes to compete. Folding the class basically says go away small plane owners! Reno is just for rich (old) guys. So much for my RV-7 @ Reno.

I think I cried a little when Kevin said he put a N/A engine in Relentless :( Also sad to see John go, but after the year we've had in aviation I can't blame him.
