cutting any cunverters out can sometimes make your check engen light stay on its a risk but if you do it anyway some performance programers can reset the light and have it turn off from that problem trust me i work on putting exhaust on!!!

yeah if you dump the exhaust before the cats. you can take the cats off and run a full exhaust and youll see almost no power loss and maybe even a slight gain but not much.

I had a chevy before my tundras & I had straight pipes & went to the beach water got in and bam fucked it all up.The mechanic said had I had a muffler It may have stopped the cold water & air possibly.I also have a friend with a ford with straight pipes & had to spend over $4k on fixing his due to straight pipes no cats.Ask any mechanic they will tell you the same!Its fine I can afford mufflers & proper exhaust set up from motor and beyond so have fun lame ass!
