Saw them a year ago on a festival dominated by long haired cave men playing the heaviest music you can imagine... and funny enough... Wolf People was one of the only two bands that actually played real music and blew the doors right of the venue!!! (the other one was woven hand, but that's pretty obvious they are awesome ;) )

Genesis, Manfred Mann, The Troggs, Gravy Train, Blodwyn Pig, John Mayall, Moody Blues and Canned Heat amongst many others have all used flute in their songs over the years. Go accuse them of leeching ideas from Jethro Tull.

their music is great, sometimes even amazing! the album i have ('steeple') does remind me of many great things: gentle giant, traffic, GRAVY TRAIN, some tull, a bit o' sabbath and pentagram... but crossed with... mudhoney, kyuss and (the harder side of) dinosaur jr? excellent, although verging on 'nerdy'.. reading some of the comments, i must add that, being 40 and a rocknoroller since i was 8, their lack of hair is sorta disturbing haha. but who cares, really! fuck intolerance!
