It's so depressing, yet beautiful in a way I don't understand.

@schlegelt The beuty in this anime is how realistic this story is portrayed, it shows how both characters were not only being separated physically but emotionally as well, life sadly will not stay the same no matter how much you wish for it, we see how Akari decided to move forward in her life by falling in love and getting engaged, tataki i belive has a girlfriend but still reminises in the past. However the biggest impact is the ending which we see the choices made by both and how it all ends

The reason the movie is so sad is because we all have had moments like the characters, the first chapter spoke to me for the most part, not really the moving away part, but the part when the main character talks about being disappointed in not having answers. The middle wasn't as much of a tear jerker and the end was calming and I walked around for a while contemplating things. For some reason I feel like he just imagined her like in the song. She went to find him, so perhaps he was just wishing
