People complained Milo only had tumbling but no artistry in the 1990s. But when you compared her FX routines with the robotic routines now (4-5 tumbling passes, rushing into the corner with hand movements before doing another pass), you can realize that Milo's routines are not that bad. At least you can see she used the whole floor area, she was really doing a routine. Some of her "dance" skills are quite elegant - the jump to double turn + the 3 leaps before the 2nd pass in her Atlanta floor.
It's funny how some criticize Milo for the nude photos/videos, but here in the United $tate$ we'll storm the newsstands and talk lustfully for months if there's a report that some whore like Britney Spears got photographed with her damn tits hanging out. Milo is a hero. And I know she was a wonderful mother. And I know she was one of the best gymnasts ever. That's what matters.
im sure denisa had a wonderful time with her mother. i remember watching a video of her coaching little girls probably back in 2001 (before the nudity scandal) and she absolutely adored them and treated them like they were her children. God bless denisa & milo.

Although I am her fan (being the person to upload this video) and I agree she made a silly decision to pose nude, this has nothing to do with her daughter's death. They are two different stories. Although she was clearly wrong in that nudity scandal, I am sure everyone made bad mistakes in life and we should rather wish Milo having a happier life in the future.
@Anonymous9999 when she did that,our country was going through the worse period ever,ppl lost their jobs,had no monney for food,so i don't judge her,plus in Romania when they won gold at the olympics meant nothing financially,they worked hard for nothing but to bring pride to their country,the state helped them with nothing...

I also think she spent her whole childhood + youth hibernating in the training camp, and was not aware of the deception in the real world, so she fell into this trap and accepted the offer. She was unlikely to know internet well and thought the video/photos would never be leaked out of Japan at that time... Her life is indeed very sad and bad after retirement...

I thought the International Federation of Gymnastics would never 'forgive' her for the scandal and dont want the young gymnasts and fans to know her past achievement, but it is surprising she is inducted! Amanar was inducted few years ahead of her (which is strange), and I think Gogean would probably be inducted very soon. These 3 Romanian trio had big influence on the sport in 1990s.

It propably wasn't her wisest decision, still I admire her alot. She was an fantastic gymnast and she is a great person who cared for and loved her little girl!
@Natalie9911 her daughter who suffered from cerebal palsy, i think. her pregnancy was wrought with serious complications which was why she had to undergo an emergency c-section when after only 7 months gestation. the daughter died a couple of years back from complications resulting from a neurological infection which is very common in premature babies
