  • your videos are awesome it reminds me of Korea! home sick..

  • Oooh, I want to feel that pebbled walk way on my bare feet! ^_^

  • It's a great resource. Some of the larger ground level parks have areas to sit and wash your feet afterwards as well.

  • Hey ! i really love your videos!!

    keep up the good work!:)

  • Thanks a lot!

  • I guess if you need to live in an urban center, that's the way to do it...

  • True!

  • ha ha great video ! good luck=)

  • Thanks!

  • Once again another fantastic video Steve! Sorry I've not been on for a while......

  • No worries! Thanks for stopping in this time!

  • broadcast?

    Wow, awesome ~

    ★★★★★

  • Maybe in the future!

  • Great video.

  • Thanks!

  • Another great video from the man they call Qi....I might be mistaken but I think you are using your new camera setup...good to see you putting git to good use. :)

  • New camera setup? I'm not sure what you mean? I did use the green screen this time and the mic I've had since February... The camera is the same.

  • Wow this is AWESOME!!! :D

  • Thanks Sarah!

  • I subscribed wow this is great your videos are awesome ty.

  • Glad you liked it!

  • This was a good one! =) Impressive how you can be so productive, but do remember to let yourself relax! :D I supose rooftop gardens may serve that purpose, so well done! Two birds with one stone, eh? ;)

I'd like to see you make a longer documentary on something Quiranger! I really learn well from listening to you =) May I suggest making something on religion? Or perhaps it's more safe to make something on science, f.eks astronomy? Just some suggestions, suprise me! =)

  • -but only if you find yourself having too much time on your hands this summer, of course ;-)

  • LOL - Well, if you visit my page, you'll see a playlist for travel videos... some are more than 11 minutes. As for religion, I've done about a dozen as well. They're all online!

Glad you liked this one! I'll be shooting a new travel video this weekend... weather permitting!

Oh... and this is relaxing to me. I am an explorer.

  • I guess I have not been looking closely enough! =)

Looking forward to your next video!

  • I always thought rooftop gardens were something of the future... Of course it partly is, but I would really like to see this on a global scale.

Anyway, this could be part of a documentary. Top quality!

  • Thanks! Glad you think so!

  • Wow, talk about a beautiful view with a great idea.

  • Thanks!

  • The roof top looks very fantastic. Nice video.

  • Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it!

  • I wish I could show you the beautiful green rooftops in New York City. You would not only find grass and trees, but swimming pools and heliports.

Make no mistake about it, urban cities around the globe are going green and it's an integral part of urban living.

  • I'd love to see some of the NY treetops. There's a pond on this rooftop, but it's empty now... they forgot to take the fish out last winter...

  • I'd like to know which building you were walking around that had that beautiful rooftop garden?

  • Just one of many here in the city. They're all like this.

  • this footage is amazing. where exactly? i wanna visit man...show me around suckaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • It's in the Seoul area. Not much in my city... but there's plenty to do in Seoul man... plenty.

  • what city is this?

  • Part of Hwaseong.

  • Oh my god, Steve is going legit. Shooting for a TV job, Steve?

  • LOL - Oh, I'd love to work in TV or Radio.

  • What is your profession?

  • Currently teaching English pays the bills, but I've done quite a bit over the years.

  • at first I thought it was one of your green screen videos!! wow that is so amazing!!!

  • LOL - that is too funny!

  • Hey Steve, This is a great video for the "$100 Jordmate Outdoor Challenge Competition", you should enter it - 5 Stars. Well done.

  • Maybe...

  • I think that sort of thing is quite unusual here in my town. Several condos have their own small rooftop gardens but I don't know of any buildings that actually have one for all of the occupants. Too bad, it's a great idea.

  • And furthermore, even if they did, it wouldn't consist of more than a few potted trees and plants. Nothing like what you're showing.

  • That's really a shame. It makes such a huge difference.

  • Now that's a nice roof top!

  • Yeah, it's swank!

  • Such a good idea !

  • Thanks LOZ!

  • Excellent topic for a video - I shall look for some urban greenery

  • Can't wait to see what you find!

  • I can't wait to see what you find. Maybe in the CBD?

  • You got me. I've been fascinated with taking photographs from rooftops in Philly, but I haven't encountered a rooftop garden. Guess I'll have to hunt some down.

  • I can't wait to see what you come up with.

  • wow,looks so great...thank u 4 sharing...;-)

  • You're welcome!

  • 1:32 A dragonfly! lol...it's a bit odd tht I can see a dragonfly in early June! it's too early! anyway....Great place!(it's open to any resident?) XD haha and I know why u kept moving on those gravels :p BTW...do u hav a remote control of ur camera? or it was just kinda editing effect?(Zooming at 2:25)...hmm I'v never seen the mic like tht. wanna look closely and see its detail :)

  • I did the zoom in post. The Mic is a Samson H2. If you do a YouTube search on it, you'll find a great video by Gadget TTS.

  • NIce.

I wish we had something like that on top of our building.

    P.S. OhCurt is a weiner!

  • It's actually quite nice. I look out my apartment window and see green all over the place.

Do any of the buildings out your way have greenery for you to enjoy?

  • Wow...I didn't expect to see such a nice garden on the rooftop. The reflexology path with ROUND pebbles looks really nice...that I would miss doing everyday.

Btw, why is the microphone so big? lol

    Great job, Steve!

  • I forgot my lapel mic at in my apartment and didn't want to go back and get it. It's set up as a field mic as well, so, I can use it for interviews, hence the hand grip.

    The roof area is great!

  • Wow, I'd never heard of this before... and I wonder if Los Angeles even has anything like this.

BTW, I'm such a weener - I actually jumped a little when you showed that bug on the bench.

    Oy!

You are becoming the master of travel videos.

    :-)

  • Thanks Curt... jumping at the Dragonfly is really a wimpy move! But if you come out this way, I'll promise to protect you from all the bugs. ;-)

The videos are getting a little easier to make and plan, so I'm glad you think they're actually getting better as well.

Having the remote mic makes things really easy too!

  • LOL, wimpy is right.

And the remote mic was a find, that's for sure. BTW, I meant to remark that the green screen effect here was really sharp. My editing software allows for me to do such things but I've yet to even try diving in. If I ever do make an attempt, you and a handful of others will have been responsible for planting that seed.

  • I never realized it was so easy! My greenscreen: 2 $1 pieces of green poster board.

  • *jaw on floor*

I no longer have any excuse!

  • No you don't... All you need is a color you're not wearing... and even lighting. Heck, I even did it with my white walls yesterday... but decided to go 'green' when I was chromakeying out my eyes ;-)

  • Ya know, I noticed the eye thing and got kind of a chuckle. Perhaps it would've worked better if you had bloodshot eyes.

    ;-)

  • lol

  • That's an awesome rooftop garden! Wow.

  • And there's a reflexology path for you!
