  • This lady is badass. SEE, you anti gun heads. You people should be like this lady free, ARMED, and courageous!!!!!

  • Criminals will always prefer unarmed victims.

  • I also don't understand the government conspiracy angle here. Surely the sale of guns and ammunition are taxed so the state makes money out of this, and if the crime rate falls they get to spend less money on police forces?

  • You just have to read history to see when a government is on the verge of total oppression they go for citizens guns. This is one of the big reason the war for independence in the U.S. started. England started to confiscate people's weapons. Your government is TOTALLY out of control. I'm really surprised you're taking the attitude that you are. You have a police state right on your necks already, getting worse by the week.

  • I disagree - and not out of any patriotic fervor. Our problems are mostly social ones, where teenagers consider guns and knives as fashion accessories. I'm guessing that even the NRA don't advocate 15 year-olds taking handguns to school with them

  • The statistics from pro-gun website guncite (can't link to it, sorry) are surprising, They indicate you are less likely to be injured in a street robbery if armed but a lot more likely to be injured in a burglary if you attack the intruder with a gun. Maybe the title to this video should be Granny Got Lucky.

  • Again, the bottom line is nobody has the right to say a person cannot defend themselves. You clearly don't want to have a gun, but you have no right to tell someone else they can't have one to defend themselves. It's a personal choice. You choosing to take a risk not to have a gun isn't any different than someone choosing to risk having one. There's no guarantee either way. I think having a gun is a wiser choice.

  • Actually I would LOVE to own a gun but I don't want to go to jail for 10 years (mandatory minimum sentence here). My point is that 'MORE GUNS = LESS CRIME' is way too simplistic. Yours is a nice story about an old dear who got one over on a burglar, but the implication is that this is the best way to defend yourself. The statistics from a reputable study (published on a pro-gun website) say differently.

  • Youtube doesnt like me posting URLs , but go to type in guncite and add all this...com/gun_control_gcdgeff_table7

  • Again, you're free to believe and put your faith inf studies. I don't trust them any more than the A-Holes that will throw you in jail for 10 years for having a gun to protect yourself. It's a fact that "studies" are often totally bogus, concocted to con you into what they want you to believe. "The study says" is no guarantee it's true. I think common sense says you're better able to protect yourself with a gun than anything else.

  • Oh, and to get around the URL problem I usually just put (dot) in it like : KickThemAllOut(dot)com

  • @BedsnHerts what are the most violent cities in america.washington d.c. chicago los angeles harlem bronx jamaica queens.watts compton inglewood philadelphia.these are the cities with the strictist gun control laws.gun control increases violent crime.period.the evidence is undeniable.

  • I've heard this argument many times - criminals don't obey gun laws and would rather their victims weren't armed - fair point. But in the NRA perfect world where everyone had a gun, would all criminals give up a life of crime or would they maybe adopt a more "shoot now, steal later" approach?
