Comecei a jogar o code Veronica PS2, mas é mto dificil de controlar ela. Na rodela analógica basicamente ela se movimenta pra frente e atrás, e se eu quizer movimenta-la pros lados tenho que girar o botão uns 90° pra depois inclinar o botão pra cima pra ela caminhar. O.o

I love all Resident Evil games, this is by far my favourtie just because it was the first one i played! 8:19 scarriest moment of my childhood! but if i had to choose i'd say i preffer the older ones! i hate the fact that 4 and 5 are devided into chapters! its less survival horror and more survive till the end of this bit and then i'll take a break!!

one thing the new RE games do better i think, is the Diablo-esque grid inventory layout. its more intuitive, easier to use (IMO) and you can just hold more, so no more needless dropping items and running back and forth to grab them later

@PaidYouOff It may have been different, but the fact is the "older" Resident Evil games had horror, challenges and sometimes you had to think to solve something. Not one time playing RE 4 or 5 did either of those two factors play into the game. In my opinion the only thing I enjoyed about RE 4 and 5 is the mercenaries, everything else was too easy, no ribbons and save whenever you wanted, die and you go to a checkpoint not back to the starting screen, weapons are practically handed to you

@1shoryuken Except the differnce between them and the enemies of the older RE games is that the enemies were technically dead thanks to the virus, but their bodies were "reanimated" thanks to the virus as well, and makes them go on a feasting spree.

The parasites, or "Las Plagas" don't actually kill them. All it does is control their primal actions and uses them to live on. Not to metion, their brains didn't actually rot either, so yes, it's reasonable they can still what normal people can do.

Do you even know what parody means, or do you confuse it with other words that are completely different? The only difference between RE4 and it's predecessors is the camera. While the camera was fixed at angles in RE0 through RE Code Veronica, RE4 has the camera behind the character at shoulder height at all times. The formula and gameplay were still much the same.

It completely destroys the immersive experience of survival horror, you don't feel a sense of dread or isolation anymore because you know you can gain access to a whole arsenal of equipment. And RE4's story... is just bad.

Yeah, you can access a whole arsenal of equipment, but not right off the bat. It takes a little while to build up the funds, and you don't get to pick ANY weapon at the start.

And what exactly makes RE4's story bad?

The dialouge isn't cheesy, cutscenes are more movie like (with button sequences so you can't ever rest), and it at least has a little more consistency.

They had to send someone in that could get her in and out without being seen by the majority of the enemies, especially Saddler, then they could have an army take over. But apparently they did not know that the Los Illuminados actually planned to use her to become one of his "puppets".
