love this. i've seen Dierks 9 times at concert, all in the pit area. And this guy can definitely sing, there is no question about it. I wouldn't be his #1 fan and see him in concerts repeatedly if that wasn't true :) thanks for posting this! Dierks Rocks!!!

@dude0wnt1 The reason he can hit them on record is because it's called Antares Pitch Correction. Used on virtually EVERY SINGLE record made today. Hence, the lack of talent on a live basis. Just a lot of pretty faces. And the record industry wonders why their sales are down. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but every time I've seen him sing live, he's as flat and boring as a 2 day old pancake.

Ok so I know everyone has rights to their own opinion, but Dierks may not have the best voice in music (he even admits that in an interview), but he writes his own music, records what he wants, and he has THE best live show I've seen! I've seen Dierks 8 times and each of those is better than any other country concert I've seen. What makes him better is the fact that his music is staying true to real country music, not the crap that country music is becoming now (i.e Taylor Swift).

All people care about today is looks, they don't care about talent. If you walked up to a talented country artist like carrie underwood and got their honest opinion about people like dierks bentley and taylor swift. They would all tell you that they just don't have what it takes to be a talented singer.

I have both of their studio albums .. but was really disappointed with EVERY time I have seen Carrie live.. she goes off key alot

On the nashville music fest (or what ever it was called) the only artists that were there were the new and "upcoming" artists. You would never see the old (or actual) country music artist there unless they had money invested in it. that's just another way to tell you what to like. but I will admit that the opry live sound is not the best

@jamesshaul Sometimes its not just the talent of the singer, its the passion in his voice, its the feeling you get when you listen to him/her sing, or the quality of the song itself. I'm not a huge country fan and yet I enjoy some of Dierk's songs because they are FUN. Listen to Up on the Ridge, Little Heartwrecker, or How am I doing? for what I mean.
