@peanut111shorty Yeah The Company We passed is Station 50 out of Tuckerton. Tuckerton Boro is not part of Little Egg Harbor. So since the call was in Little Eggs area the 3 FD from the Town go to that one. We do use Station 50 on the BIG jobs when needed.
@RayEMT yeah that is the way it is here too, the city has two fire stations, and we, the county volunteer dept, have two fire stations located in the city. So the city responds to the calls around our stations and when they need help on the big jobs they will call one of our stations or both. And we cover the county area around the city and sometime call them to come out in the county to help.
@RayEMT forgive my speling, but that makes no since to me, when all i can see is one unit on scean, and the next closes unit isnt paged out, when a fire dubles in size every min.
@mastersnip02 we were the last of the 3 compaines to get hit out and we had to travle the most distance to get there. Parkertown Sta 70 which the school is located is right up the street from the school so they were there first Station 71 West tuckerton is only 2 miles away. so they go there 2nd. Reason you only scene on unit at first is they were staging at the hydrant. All the other units were on the "B" side of the building you cant see them because we took the "A" side
@RayEMT ok that makes more since but due to it being a school, why is it not mutaral aid for that station also? and agine forgive my spelling. i only knoe what my department dose and our SOP's and SOG's so i like to know some insite to other departments around the USA
@mastersnip02 Since its a totally Different Town. And if it was Major Fire they would have been there Im Sure but that is up to the Chief to decided if he need them. Again its not our part of the Town so we dont make that Call. On our Alarm Assisgnment that Fire Co we passed is on our 3 alarm if needed. You dont want to strip a town of there resources. But at the end if need for more man power Im sure they would have been there
