Yeah but then I remember seeing the 3 Stooges in concert twice in Canada in the mid sixties in which Moe told kids not to poke each other in the eyes like they saw in their movies as it had caused some kids to go blind as their friends poked them in the eyes way too hard. Also assumeing that kids hitting other kids over the head with chairs, boards and so on must have hurt some kids down the road. I don't know when this piece was filmed but I know what I heard

kiDD1963: I found out from one of the commenters on this page and after watching a biography movie of them,

he passed away in May of 1975. My God if

I had known he was still alive I would have written letters to him (since they didn't have e-mail back then) and thanked him for all the laughter. Opportunity missed. God rest his dear soul and all the Stooges that made us laugh. They were Laughter Angels sent from God to keep us happy on this miserable planet!!

No. The three originals passed away several years ago. Shemp, Emil Sitka, Joe Besser, and Curly Joe DeRita are also gone.

That just shows you how resilient Moe was, though: Through broken ribs, two dead brothers, a ripped up contract with Columbia, and old age, Moe was a funnyman to the very end. Death was the only thing that could stop him.

I think that's stretching it a bit. Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Spencer Tracy and "The Duke" were, are and always will be legends whose acting and reputations far outweigh the low-brow talents of the Stooges Three. In fact, The Marx Brothers were a far more clever and inventive trio insofar as comedic skills are concerned.

Don't get me wrong--I like the Stooges--but not so much that I can't keep things in perspective.

Her real name is Julie Newmeyer, and she has spent most of her life taking care of a disabled son.

Previous to her appearances as TV's original "Catwoman" on the "Batman" series, the lanky and health-conscious Newmar had been a chorus girl in such films as "Lil' Abner" and "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers," also had a co-starring role in the series "My Living Doll" with Bob Cummings, playing a sexy robot named "Rhoda."

Black actress/singer Eartha Kitt replaced Newmar for a few episodes on "Batman," and actress/1955 Miss America Lee Meriwether played "Catwoman" in the feature film based on the series, because Newmar was making another film at the time. But Newmar returned to the series as "Catwoman" for at least a final appearance, even after Eartha Kitt had played the role.

I'm a 34 year old man and I'm not ashamed to say this. If I was able to do that skit with Moe at that moment on that show, I probably would have balled like a baby afterwards. That would have been the biggest honor of my life to have performed one of the most famous comedy skits of all time with a legend like Moe Howard, or any of the other Stooges. There will never be another Three Stooges. RIP my friends...
