Yeah thats amazing for Oct,... good work on hiking mt chery.. bit of a climb! Shame we dont have that much snow there now!

aye, it was pretty amazing for october , this year the snow is a little later but it's definately on it's way , we were up the top of chamossiere this morning and there was a good 20cm with more forecast ...........time to dust off the winter kit !

Ah thats great news! I was looking at the web camera in the center of Les gets and there is no snow that low down, could see some snow higher up but did'nt think it was anywhere near 20cms! I'm heading out there in a couple of weeks for the winter season... cant wait!

That much snow in october? Im stunned! I know Les Gets all too well, know it like the back of my hand in fact(12 years running). Very interesting!..
