The thing is, he made it a different groove - the song is in 6/4, there's and extra two beats to each bar, listen at about 2 minutes in when he chops the piano.

Once you get used to it, you'll realize he adds a lot of depth to the track, and it "fits" the song and the poetry actually really well. I hated this remix at first, but the more I listen I realize its really a work of art. I'd be willing to bet that this is one of 9ths favorite works.
