@littlebunty11 remember one of those concerts of old GNR back to 90's, where Duff got thrown by a crazy ass bottle. Duff passed out and sent to the hospital immediately. Axl was furious seeing his pal got knocked off and went " if you know who did it...kill him!", then he smashed the mic storming off the stage. Since then, no matter what is thrown on the stage Axl would just stop the band playing in case Duff incident happen again.
I love Guns but the old much more because they had such great energy when they were playing, and if it was not for izzy duff and slash there would not be a guns and roses. Much love.....

Slash and co produced a many good songs on Contraband and a few on Libertad but the early days cant be beaten. Why do you think appetite for destruction is in the top ten of all time? Gosh so what if slash wasnt in the band for as long as some of the curreent members, I think the new band is OK but i think its that slash was there from the beginning that counts. Slash and co produced a many good songs on Contraband and a few on Libertad but the early days cant be beaten. Why do you think appetite for destruction is in the top ten of all time? Because there was chemistry between the band mates and they put passed experiences that they shared together into the songs

@howiesreef13 You obviously know nothing about guns. His voice is amazing and the band he is with now is light years ahead of the old guns in terms of talent. I admit its not the real guns. Chinese democracy is a masterpiece and only fake fans like you diss it cause you prolly only know the 3 big songs on appetite. Axl doesnt want to do the exact same thing he did 20 years ago. HE proves he can explore the music world very well.

@App4Des, GNR deliver brilliantly. synth was used on UYI too & many great bands experimenred with a variety of instruments and styles. why shouldnt GNR? you expect them to robotically produce AFD again and again?
this is GNR- the members have been in the band for several years, many of them longer than Slash was. :) pansy stuff is what Slash plays with wimps like Adam Levine and pop mediocrities like Fergie- anything for a buck, poor Slash. :)

slash left GNR- biggest mistake he ever made & he admitted it pretty much when he went to Axl's house in 2005 begging for a reunion. Axl's happy with GNR so he didnt bother meeting Slash at all. :) Slash himself admitted to this visit.
Slash has "hits"? hehe! VR was a meaningless gimmick that died a tragic death- Libertad sank & they got booted by their record company.

@howiesreef13, slash's solo album dropped to No. 152 on Billboard after being out for just a few weeks. it got average reviews and it didnt sell despite slash assembling big names to try to save his mediocre tunes. :)
these guys in GNR are veteran accomplished musicians. your hate wont diminish them one iota. Slash was in GNR from 85-96- thats 11 years. Dizzy, Tommy, Chris have all been in GNR longer. :)

THEY ARE GOOD, but as far as the sound for Axl.... Us ORIGINAL fans just cant get enough of the low down dirty, grungy, hard hittin Guns. I mean Axl may or may not have made it without Slash... But the fact of the matter remains, and as far as saying "fuck Slash." Thats alittle harsh for being on the cover of "Guitar Ledgends."

@Losemyillusions BTW this new Guns, is just a money maker... The record comapny belived in Axl SOOOO much that they gave him this budget that seemingly never ran out over the last 2 decades... While yall here waitin for Axl, Slash went on his own thing, and did good for having to leave the Guns behind. Show a little respect its comments like that, that keep us away from the new. Cuz music really is not what they used to be... Its all about money now...

The guy sounds good but to say he sounds the best ever or as good as he did in the 90s is just licking his ass because he doesnt sound as good as he used to in all honesty.
Also his song writing has gone completely off course to the GNR i grew up with.
