@MadinaPrimadonna Makoto ain't that old.. she's supposedly 24 or so and Ruka is about 16.. besides Ruka was Ayumu who was Makato's first love but turned into a vampire and doesn't age so technically they are the same age!

No he didn't "come back to life". The whole running-in-the-tunnel-and-taki­ng-off-his-hood is symbolic. He is indeed dead, hence the "Light at the End of the Tunnel". The video footage at the end with Ruka[Kuromiya] & Makoto playing on the beach are simply memories. Those same clips were played throughout the 10 episodes when both she & he began to remember/discover that Ruka=Ayuma.

Also, Shota didn't forget him. He drew Ruka's photo, so unlike everything else, *that *wouldn't disappear :]

I remember 2 years ago, when I cried for about an hour because of the ending. It's so beautiful, he died for the one he loved enternally. How wonderful is that T_T .. I miss this drama so much! I love the whole cast!

If bitten, she would be in transition (although is rarely could only bite his wife predestined), so that both would be vampires. in this scene he says he wants her to live a full and happy life and to smile one last time before breaking down (if he found his wife predestined and not the bit in x days he would die)

I have watched quite a few dramas but this was the first one that I truly cried on. When I started watching this drama, I thought it was going to be all funny and crazy and it was at the beginning. Than it got heavier and more romantic. This drama turned out to be much much better than I thought it would be. I would recommend this to anyone. It was so good. i cried like crazy at the end. So sad but yet so happy and romantic.

Ahhh I still can't face the fact that he dies in the end!!! I saw this drama not so long ago.. I got to know a fabulous young actor, Nakayama Yuma is such a talented boy! I couldn't help myself but cry.. The kiss scene touched my heart <3 I wish there was one more season, but it's just impossible :(
