Once you lose, you get placed into the loser's bracket for a second chance to win, your place in the loser's bracket being determined by how far you got in the winner's bracket. Grand finals thus becomes the winner of the winner's bracket versus the winner of the loser's bracket.

you shine oos by jumping oos and shining as soon as you can. it takes 5 frames i think for falco to leave the ground, so the shine will be on the ground if you hit it before he leaves the ground, or barely in the air if you don't get it in time.

How do you do shine to b-air (3:39)? If I press the buttons too fast, he shines the other way and does a f-air or something else that's stupid. If I do it too slowly he doesn't make it in time. Agh -_-.

@Fartmanofdoom To nswer your question, the only way most people can do it is to shine and then jam up on the analog and back on the c-stick almost immidiately. Its easy to mess up and turn around with if you use x or y.

Thank Zeus that Mogwai and Hazzard did the commentary for this set instead of DJNintendo. Like 90% of the time DJ's commentary is god-awful. He just talks - in terribly broken and illiterate English - about how amazing he is at everything he does and it's fuckin annoying. Mogwai and Hazzard do some very funny commentary; this set wouldn't be as legendary as it is without it.

I watched this video a while ago in searching for tourney vids of Sheik. And after watching these matches I decided to check out Falco after seeing how much Awesome he's made of, and played around with him with my cousin Jake.

(Jake went to Boston Conservatory and met this kid Julian who he found, after asking, played Smash as well. Jake got his ass handed to him fighting Ness, but he managed to make connections with someone who he later found out...new PC Chris.) I now main Falco.

I love SSBM.

I think in some tourneys, they should have like 8 characters to randomly select.

It would make it more equal since some characters are better than others, and Marths Chain grab on FD is the cheapest thing.

Not all should have random selection, and the ones that do should be rare...

And the characters will be of the same speed and class.

AWESOME. I just downloaded the first for free to see if I like the series, only downside is that it doesnt have online play, only campaign and LAN and computer matches.

Still good enough for me, I like it so far.

I meant also that they should make classes for the tiers based on their speed and stuff for SOME tourneys because of the game not being perfectly balanced. Just for SOME, and if it doesn't work then it shouldn't be done.
