I got a call about this, I asked to get their number to call them back. I got it but they said it would be no use trying to call because there were so many others calling in. They wanted to call me back, I said ok. I then called Microsoft support (the real) and asked about this. They said it was a scam. When the "tech" called back I said that I had been in contact with Microsoft. He then tried to convince me that it was the real Microsoft that tries to scam me...
i got a ph call from indian dude yesterday and as i not real computer savy i almost fell 4 it, now i am worried as how do i know if my computer is at risk or not??

A friend of mine got this call today. He kept them on the line for a long time. "Oh--someone is at the door..." Came back 3 mins, later and they are still there.Then he acted like a total computer noob--after many more mins. of that he heard in the background "f--k" and they hung up.
when they did that for me the spelling out of individual letters in phonetics i had a ball. They'd say S for whatever and id say P for porn yes do go on..... hahaha they got so frustrated.
keeping them on phone for long as possible is better than just abusing the person on the phone right up.
I can't even keep track of the number of lies he told you ... its amazing.... they called me the other day and I dared them to ask me what my PhD was in (answer: Computer Science) - they didn't have the balls to take a guess - they just hung up ;-( and I was going to have some fun with them.... such party poppers they are ;-)
