I was a good friend of Stuarts, and he'd hate all this bickering. Stu lived for his music, and only gave the world just a small taste of what he twas capable of. Great lad, musical genius, and sorely missed...10 years ago yesterday Big Man.....Thanks for all the good times mate.....
Fantastic film....Fantastic soundtrack...just enjoy the film and the music....Stuart Adamson was a fantastic songwriter xxxx Restless Natives is a fantastic film xx
How bout we stop insulting each other over stupid stuff that don't matter and stop dishonoring Stuart Adamson and Robert Burns memory. This is a great song and enjoy it for what it is. Your insults to one another cause you're this or that is meaningless and useless.
scottish music is shit! the scottish are crap at everything, even their women come down to england for some real loving! they cant even feed themselves without us english subsidising them! lets face it they get free prescriptions, free university tuition and us english even pay the taxes on your buckfast ffs! hahahaha
oh and actually think for yourself, the scots subsidise you lot all the time and no more will this happen and you are pissed off because you are stuck down that shithole and cant do anything about it. enjoy loser!!!!!

This film is brilliance. Watched this with my best mate and we never forgot it . 20 years + onward. I have sadly lost may best mate and watching this has taken me back to thoes good old days! Awsum soundtrack, awsum landscape. !
Forget bigotry and sectarianism, forget hatred, forget Flower of Scotland and its anti-English sentiments, this song should be our national anthem, period!!!!!!!!!
@jrms999 Great for you guys up there to have this as your national anthem. However, as an Irish person I would strongly disagree. Just think with Restless Natives playing at the start of every rugby match you would win everything and we (or anyone else) would not have a chance as your players would be so impassioned and fired up. Please no, keep Flower of Scotland please!
forget "gone with the wind" "star wars" or "lord of the rings" this is by far the BEST movie ever made!! a pair of common jocks robbing tour busses!! classic!!! love it!!! and im English!!! LMAO :0)
Remember at thier gig in the Caird hall, Dundee, my mate shouted to Stuart to sing this. And he went mental when Stuart said 'Nah, no the day son'. He wiz going about saying 'he spoke tae me, he spoke tae me!' great memories.
I remember some of my cousins getting in trouble from the Ice cream van guy because they tried to spend the fake cash the guys on the bike threw out to them in Wester Hailes :)
i went for an interview in Fort William to be an extra in this film. i was one 3 Scotsmen interviewed that day. the bloody German tourists got the job! lolol
I remember this, I was at the bottom of the mound at 1:57 with the mighty Sony walkman in the back pocket. What a laugh it was......they were the days
This is my Fav Big Country song. Just Love the Riff and Stu's voice. Named my son Robert after it. I have never really cared for much as i have suffered with addiction like Stuart.
