He had already stopped them from removing him the first time Meyer was kicked out because Kerry doesn't want people to think he was avoiding the questions. it's why Kerry spent so much time answering afterwards. I think that doing things the way they did in '07 at this publicly owned institution just reflects the need to ease people into the idea that they aren't free any more to speak their minds, as the other guy said. I just saw another video of this which shows much more than just this one question. The guy was on quite a roll before this and I think he was tasered because they just wanted him to be quiet, not necessarily because of the S & B question. However, I have seen other men escorted out of presidential talks after asking about their membership in the Bohemian club. What's even more sad about this video in my opinion, is that no one got up to help him. Why is that? The bystander effect isn't what happened here. What happened is that people were too afraid to get arrested themselves. Standing up to police is seen as a taboo in our society. Why? Fear. Doesn't this tell you something? We're slowly moving into a police state, and it's much more saddening that people defend it... I have a lot of respect for this kid standing up and being heard...
