basically imagine as all the cards being groups of people. boys girls black white. they are in groups and in pairs. black man black girl white man white girl in one group. the trick does itself because at the end of the trick all the "girls" are together all the "blacks" are together" etc. i literally learned this trick last night lol and had it explained to me with a story line

"One day four bros decided they would throw a house party (kings). Each bro decided to bring their closest friend (jacks). Well, a party is boring with out some girls so earlier that day at school some girls (queens) over heard and stopped by to drink. The party began to get out of control the the cops showed up at the door (Aces). They started to run (cut the deck). ending is your choice.

i like to prepare them with JQKAs and arrange them according to their suits so the patter would be like "there was once 4 kingdoms, the kingdom of hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs." and so on.. its awesome and i tell the spectators to do it, so they were really amazed.

i knew the trick but you showed it the wrong way, i always used to tell a story to it like:

there were 4 kings and they wanted to go on a holiday, they all took their queen along. The queens took their butlers along (jacks obviously), and the butlers took a friend along (Aces) and you got your 4 piles of cards. As for cutting the deck, i said like they were travelling to different places while cutting and you let the spectator 'travel' to wherever he wanted (let him cut cards)

the thing is, you need more distraction before showing them the actual trick

basically it is a mathematical trick, for example, the first ace is four cards away from the second ace, the second card is four cards away from the third ace and the third ace is four cards away from the fourth ace. That's the same with the two's, the three's and the four's. So no matter where you cut it or how many times you cut it the cards will be four cards away from the next card, and when you lay them out in four piles the cards all come together leavnig a pile of ace's,2's,3's and 4's!!!

this is not math at all, you ppl are just to stupid to try it yourself, get all the aces, 2s, 3s, and 4s with the same suits, flip it over stack them on each other, then cut them as many times as you want, but one cut at a time then you get the top card and put it down, and continue with the rest

I was taught doing.... The kings are the dads, Queens are the moms, Aces are sisters, Jacks are brothers, and they all go on a trip together.... how many buses do they take??... (thats how many cuts you do).... then you put them back upside down so they can't see, then you say, well the dads wanted to chat about cars... and you flip them over, the moms wanted to chat about cooking, flip, the sisters wanted to talk about boys, flip the cards, and the brothers wanted to chat about video games...
