  • Im just in love with this song

  • @BiggussDikkus I AGREE!!!!

  • i love this video and song and deborah cox is feeling like she is really heartbroken in this video and that is probably why she is really singing this song cause of her brokne heart and cause of this man that is is singing too about her heart and she is telling him that she don't want no body else and either do i we just want you and only you and youare my man.

  • i love this video and this song and deborah cox is sing the hake out of this song and she is feeling like she is really heartbroken over this man and that she can't live with out this man and she can't breath with out this man and that she can't live with out this man's loving and his kisses.

  • deborah cox can sing and she beautiful and she belongs in thecatagory with beyonce mariah carey kelly price jill scott heather headley and tamar braxton and her sister toni .

  • Talk about the Music of the Heart and soul...

  • I can listen to this song all day long and never get tired of it. You can actually feel her emotions in this song and the pain of losing this man. She has an "amazing" voice..

  • have not heard this in a minute.....and it was well worth the wait! This was when female singers had to sing, not look cuite and shake your butt in a video!!!

  • @BiggussDikkus Music never gonna be the same again if todays "music" currys on now we need to look back at least 10 years to listen to good music

  • Seeing Deborah was THE best part of BOSTON PRIDE!!!! Thank you for coming Deborah!

  • This is a great song, especially the Hex Hector club mix. Brings back such memories......

  • @gregilicious85 u forgot Tamia

  • i luvv deborah!!!!! long live the 90s lol. XD

  • I agree! Todays music is a complete joke. They stick anybody over a beat alter their voice and call it music. As long as their willing to be half naked and shake their ass they are on the top. What happened to the lyrics, the soul, the feeling of music...

  • i have always d c,cd.

  • i have always d c,cd

  • I HATE VEVO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song is let's you know how great music used to sound. Deborah Cox vocals are incredible

  • That's what i'm saying i wish today's music was like back in the days instead of how crappy it is now!!

  • I have always loved D.C since I was in high school. I had a childhood crush that have last to today. She is one of the best female artist in the genre. I wish that she would have never left. But she had her reasons. Still the world needs music that make you feel good to live. She was one of the best at it.

  • she has amazin voice and she look good

  • @BiggussDikkus that's wuz up this woman is One of the Singers of this generation.

  • Sophomore year in high school me and Rogenette use to kill this song!!!

  • Does anyone know where I can find the original version of this song as mp3? All I find is just dance remixes... :(

  • Love this song..

  • I think this is probably the best use of the sample of The Stylistics "You Are Everything" it's been sampled by J. Lo, LeToya Luckett, and Mary J. Blige too. Love this song!

  • Love this song

  • @rookerman2011

    oh lol no

  • GOSH!!! I miss this song!!! I used to sing this song soooo many times. I was in grade 7 when the song came out and Now I'm 26. I miss music like this. Proud she's Canadian too!

  • @rookerman2011

    LOL hahaha

letoya luckett the song is called torn

i was like i guess she sampled it from this song

  • I agree with 73KingDavid Debra Cox is certainly underrated she is a beautiful woman plus she can sang her tail off. I mean in terms of the vocal ability she belongs right up there with Beyounce,Mariah Carey and anyone else yal want to give too much credit to.

  • @nvjharmonica She is beautiful and very talented but her style is outdated. She would have to revamp.

  • @TheBasketCase1 clearly, it wasnt outdated at the time, the song now, is outdated, but not really, classic!!

  • @nvjharmonica ditto

  • they don't make music like this any more. these kids today have been robbed of great talent.

  • @BiggussDikkus I SOOOOOO AGREE !!!

  • they sing from experience so we can relate to it when my heart got fucked up this was my jam and still is...........

  • guyanese love u deborah cox ,u have so many fans there ,keep the great work up #1 in the world,.

  • HEY

  • @BiggussDikkus i agree with you...music these days is just to obscene

  • @BiggussDikkus 2days music sucks. Rap and R&B both

  • WISH DEBORAH AND MELAINE FEONA WILL BE MORE OUTSPOKEN OF THEIR GUYANESE HERITAGE. BIG UP GUYANA

  • GOD... will i ever stop loving this woman...

  • She been through something's I can relate cause I'm going through tooo

  • she has some beautiful eyes

  • dedicated to....o hell neva mind we all no who lol

  • oh i see where letoya got the beat for her song torn!

dont blame her lol old school music is the best!

  • @jenny12233 Actually they both sampled from the Stylistics "You Are Everything" and Mary J. Blige has a version of that song on one of her albums.

  • where can I find this song at this speed.. I can only find the dance version.. I want this version

  • @sabrinaceleste65 Go to FrostWire

  • Ah, Deborah Cox was so great! I loved this song, and her albums! 90's forever!

  • THINGS JUST AINT THE SAME

  • BRINGS BACK MEMORIES...OMG!!!!

  • @Rookerman32 I definitely agree with this. R&B was the music I grew up with before I listened to other kinds of music like pop, country, Brazilian and others. After the 90s ended I had high hopes for the 2000s and I was sorely disappointed. There were too many songs about booty, violence, bling bling and shallow matters. Sometimes it's fun to hear a booty or bling song (you can't always be serious), but they shouldn't overshadow quality songs that talk about real life (love, heartbreak).

  • I love this song, and it never grows old. I relate to this video and song because I had someone leave me and my life just didn't feel the same since they left.

  • @Rookerman32 Drama in a song is always good when done right. Not enough drama in a song can be boring unless the instrumentation is top notch or the vocalist is very charismatic or sexy.

  • @Rookerman32 I don't know. When I hear a song that I like that is what I enjoy. I love early Mary J. Blige, early Mariah, Estelle, some Alicia Keys, Teena Marie, etc...

  • @Rookerman32 you are some kind of music expert, right? There are many types of garage music out there. Not all 80s music had the garage sound. It's obvious that you are wrong. The early to mid 90s had a more bass and drum heavy acoustic sound. That 90s sound you refer to in Monica's sound was already being played in the very late 80s in the East Coast. LAOM isn't going to have a full 80s sound because it is 2010. Even the 90s style techno that's in vogue is still going to sound modern.

  • Is this the song that both LeToya and Jennifer Lopez sample of their songs???

  • this is a great song

  • @Rookerman32 Let me correct my last statement. I really did like Right Here (Departed). Brandy's voice sounds better to a moody, but not overly dramatic backdrop.

  • @Rookerman32 Things Just Ain't The Same 100%. Nothing against Brandy; the last time I was a fan of her was when she first came out in 94 and was in Moesha.

  • @Rookerman32 I have to disagree with you on this. I know my music very well. I was talking about 80s R&B. The 80s wasn't all about New Wave, freestyle, heavy metal and rap.

  • @Rookerman32 There are differences in the lyrical content and musical composition of these songs. Monica's going for a mid 80s sound while DC had a contemporary 90s sound. LAOM is a more happy and soulful R&B song while TJATS is melancholic and has a longing soul. It's unfair to compare two songs that have nothing in common with each other.

  • @Rookerman32 I was going to disagree with you, but when I thought about it, you are right. Monica's very talented, but DC just puts so much emotion into her music.

  • Oh wow music with meaning gone are those days oh i miss them

  • I first heard this song in a Seattle dance station, C89.5 as a dance remix which was off the hook. I could hear and feel her pain. The original R&B version sounds a lot more laid back and sweet. I love DC, where is she?

  • alot of people used this Sample, from D.C, Mary J, LeToya, the original was The Stylistics

  • shes making me horny

  • THIS IS REAL MUSIC I STILL LISTEN 2 IT EVERYDAY BECUZ I'M GOIN THROUGH SO MUCH RIGHT NOW AND MUSIC LIKE THIS HELPS ME GET THROUGH IT

  • @BiggussDikkus Amen girl 90s was the best ppl are crazy to think today is better

  • My feelings right now!!!........Got me wanting to make this 6 hour drive just to see his smile

  • this just takes me back to '97'...

  • I just love me some Deborah Cox. GO Ahead Girl. Love ya music and your voice.

  • man she rock out still ten years later you can jam to her

  • love deborah cox, and this song, it brings back memories

  • has anyone ever notice this is the same beginning beat as letoyas torn!

  • @ErinFisher111 It's actually a sample from The Stylistics circa 1971. It has been used by SWV, Deborah Cox, Letoya Luckett and various other artists. I'm a music freak lol.

  • @superstartoni1 SWV is my FAVORITE FEMALE BAND OF ALL TIME and I have to say that I don't them ever using this sample

  • @PopCulture20 I was listening to them at the time and typed that instead of Mary J lol. I do that all the time.

  • My sophomore year in college this was my theme song.

  • Brings back so many memories Summer 97.

  • Torn By Letoya luckett vvv

  • @Sheiliuh thats what i was thinking lol

  • did someone sample this? I heard this somewhere..."torn in between the two, cause I really wanna be with you..." WHAT IS THAT SONG!!!!??!?! HELP!!

  • One of so many great songs by her....

  • @SoulPowerful

    I found it on limewire

  • Thanks 1913. I was so desparate for this song that I hunted until I eventually found it on a soundtrack from a movie that came out in '97 titled "Money Talks".

I think I may cop this CD this weekend. Great music. Great quality lyrics, not bubble gum music, Single Ladies. Sorry B.!
