  • If American kids spend the same amount of time they spend on playing sports on playing piano, they can be just as good. It basically requires a lot of boring practices.

  • her face looks like her ass

  • Well, there are 10 times more asians that whatever you are , maybe more.

So, yeah, doa, you a statistics professor?

  • It doesn't matter how hard you try, there is allways an asian kid that does it better than you

I'm doing this song for a recital tomorrow! So excited!:D

  • @danileafy99 Does it seem to affect her playing?

  • D: it's out of sync but still awesome :D

  • Я люблю эту песню!

  • oh my god, Im thirteen and i learnt this when I was 12 :/

Watching these videos by asian kids makes me realize how bad I am :/

  • I dont think she is that good. There are better vids of this piece on YouTube. Children (Asian or otherwise) should not be expected to have same grace or emotion as adults. They cant express deep emotions of life they have yet to live. Not to mention their physical development isnt there yet. (Which might explain why few children play Liszt.)

  • its russian composition, sorry, hogo

  • @GHEE4345 i noticed its actually at 0:58

  • @GHEE4345

its a European composition, sorry asians

  • @hogo1

Culturally, Russia is in Europe, but most of the country is in Asia

dun be racist. if you work hard, anything is possible. Their parents work them because their parents have talent to work them to death (llike what you said) a.k.a asains have talent, BTW i'm a singaporean, so we understand we asians are kiasu, but dun a racist

  • red devil! ♥

  • very good performance :) sheet music at sheetsearch . com

  • Asians dont have talent, their parents just work them to death.

  • @TheRealAndrewSaker ...lol..hahaha.. oh my oh my... i cant stop laughing for this comment...

  • @TheRealAndrewSaker

crap . even if you were worked to death you still wouldnt come up with that quality . it has to be within you .

  • @TheRealAndrewSaker what has being a good musician to do with one's skin color?

  • @TheRealAndrewSaker

so they've got the talent to work hard my friend, a very rarely property

  • 0:58 blond girl with no talent looks down out of shame.

  • why do the other nationalities even try??? damn, we should just leave the Asians to do they thang, they'll fix all the world's problems

  • Good job!

  • ok wow! that was absolutely amazing!

  • Beautiful!

Anyone besides me notice the sound was off beat?

  • @TsukiKage21 The sound wasn't "off-beat", it was unsynchronized with the video.

  • @DoubleBassAlejo That's what I meant.

  • @TsukiKage21 Funny how what you meant and what you actually said are two very different things.

  • @DoubleBassAlejo Sue me for being human and making mistakes. Gosh.

  • @TsukiKage21 i think the sound n video is not synched

  • Beautiful!!!! 5Star* :))

  • You docta yet? Dad, I'm 12 years old. You talk to me when you docta.

  • Great playing but the video is out of time with the audio :P wow amazing piano player!

  • しかっりしたリズムで正確に弾いてますなあ〜

    こういう演奏は聞いてて気分いいです!チャイコフスキー大好き!クルミ割り人形大好き!

  • why do all these asian parents make their kids do these rediculous head and hand movements while they play? it cant be that all these asian prodigies just DO that.

    just let the kid play!!

  • @JamesIsDumbAlot I'm guessing your James. Lol. It's called showing emotion in the music, expressing passion. Majority of the time it comes naturally, you just know how to move your body to the music. Kind of like dancing....

  • 8 people wish they can play like her.

  • Just beautifully played. Great job!

  • Who says an Asian can't do thing this beautiful?

  • @bonglare Uh, I don't think anyone said that ...

  • @bonglare I don't know, who did? It sounds like you're the one asserting race as if it could possibly be a relevant trait tho.

  • Nagyon tetszik,gratulálok.Mi a mű címe?Miben található?

  • Tempo and touch is so right on. Too many kids bang those keys, but this is just perfect!

  • So Sweet!!!

  • She's so cute and I can't get over how well she played!!

  • ....bravissima....dolce...

  • why isn't the video in sync with the sound? awesome performance though

  • And of course, they had to make the poor kid look like Mulan. What a cliche.

  • That's the problem with asian musicians.

They don't play with enough emotion.

    :/

  • @freakyweirdo101 mandu4321 wants a word with you

  • @StrawberryRaindrops I guess I didn't really specify enough. I mean some asian musicians.

  • @GHEE4345 what does inferior mean?

  • That wasn't sweet. That was dark.

  • man if only the audio is synchronize this would be awesome-er

  • haha its definatly not a harpsichord lololol. they sound totaly dif to painos, and yea it looks life a very nice piano...its a steinway so probz worth at least 200k

  • i'll marry her when she is older..

  • are you sure that's not a harpsichord?

  • @redelf22 definately a piano...a rather good one, too. If I'd have to guess, I'd say Grand.....but I'm not sure...could be a baby Grand.

  • @redelf22 it's not harpsichord.. it's a beautiful steinway & sons grand..

what a lucky kid to play on that kind of piano..

  • @rvn10rvn17 not luck... talent, practice and hard work

  • girl's thoughts in 0:58 : "WHYYYYYYYYYY?" :P

  • :D hahaha, yep

  • Brava! incredible

  • lol awesome ASIANS ROCK!!!!!!! I'm not trying to be rasist.

  • @Dragoon0515 Yes, indeed, we do.

  • @Dragoon0515 Don't you realize that the root of racism lies in racial pride? You may not be "racist" but your comment is. Why not say, "child pianists rock!"? Or "humans rock!"?

  • @Dragoon0515 just happened

  • @GHEE4345 hahaha

  • HOLY COW!!! O_O Bravaaa!!!! O_O Amazing.... So lovely!!

    that you purvey..thank you!

  • she is using a auto piano

  • Oh! That was unbelievable! God bless this genaration of children, to make them just as talented as her!

  • i think she was overdoing is and micanotengonick is so right.

  • yea, i agree with riitaausten.....or maybe is it just the quality of the video :S

  • omg, Steinway & Sons piano, that must cost a fortune xd

I'd love to get one T_T

Oh, and i love this piece.

  • So, do you not like Asian children playing piano, or just children in general? Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it isn't real. She might have 10 times more creativity than you or me, but we can't just tell that from her playing a complicated piece of music on the piano. Although I agree, kind of, she didn't seem to be that into it, kind of just... reciting it.

  • I agree with you.

  • I don't respect your bet at all. Of course, there are lot of rude Korean parents force their children to play for fame but they mostly fail. To reach up her level, it requires her own passion and philos. Of course that might leads by parent who love their own child. So as Sarah Chang's mom leads Sarah fell into Violin, I assume A In's parent did so. I bet you never have experience to raise child successfully.... Whatever you said, she is amazing.

  • o really... and Tiger Woods dad... who had him play golf since he was 2 years old... how bout that? Michael jacksons Dad.. who had michael singing and dancing since he was able to walk... The Williams Sisters.. their father is their trainer manager since 4.. everyone great.. had someone (parents or not) who pushed them hard.. but juss becuase parents or someone pushes u hard dosent mean u have talent... but i think a lot of parents falsely believes their kids are talented.

  • and how do you know ALL THAT about this girl from a two minute long piano song that she performed?

  • Is she from North Korea or South?

  • I think she is from South Korea.

  • Exellent job. You must have worked very hard.

  • The sound is not synchronised with the video. This usually happens on youtube.

  • jajjajaja callate la jeta XD! no hableis de lo q no sabeis el audio ta desfasao xd

  • Wow so talented! Still doesn't know how to finish a performance though! She was up as soon as she'd played the last note!

  • UH??? has anyone noticed at 1:34, yoon a in plays but no sound comes out until 1:36. why does it do this???

  • Comment removed

  • The audio is out of synchronization with the video - probably from transcoding the original vid.

  • a very moving piece but for some reason i want to dust off my NES and go play tetris now lol

  • amen! there's a touch of whimsy to it..

  • Does anyone know whose transcription this is?

  • wow, und dann auch noch alles auswendig!

  • Man, she wrecked that !! SUch poise and grace... It was utterly flawless. 5/5

  • Yoon A In, you look like a real ballerina.

    Very clean and vivid sound.

    I really like this performance.

  • Avvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Marrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Beautifully played. My niece is about the same age as you. Well done. I agree with AzzioBreezonator. Not much of these children are really prodigies but only children who are forced to learn at an early age. I, myself was forced to learn at an early age and at a result, my father forced me to complete 8th grade when I was 11. However, these Asian children will benefit from it as I have (I'm a piano teacher now).

  • i don't think its fair, both on people like me who feel the sense of "nobody cares or notices me" and people like you saying "its my life, so why are you leading it for me?!". Music should NOT be forced.

  • Well, I am happy that my father did force me to play because it did lead me to a good living and a way to support myself. But I do agree with you about the part where music hould not be forced onto youngsters who are unwilling to take part.

  • yeh, learning an instrument can increase your IQ, so i suppose thats good.

  • its unfortunate that alot of Asians are forced to play piano at very young age by their parents. so what you usually see arent real musicians, but just children who can just play piano. piano prodigys are rare, and so you can't go about calling all Asians who play piano at young age piano prodigys because that isn't fair on those who dont get noticed in the western part of the world. i've felt this way for ages, and even though someone could interpret this as a horrible statement, im sick of it!

  • asians have a different culture man they are very disciplined and devoted didnt you see china in the olympics

  • i don't watch the olympics, but i'm not really talking about all cases. i just know from research i did, because there is no way, every single baby Asian wants to learn piano when they're young. I'm sorry if it sounds like i'm being offensive just referring them as "Asian" but i really mean Chinese/Japanese.

  • Great interpretation.5 stars.

  • wow she plays very well. i wonder if it's likely that we'll see her as a professional pianist in the future =D

  • i love this song.

  • i dont play piano at all but that riff thing took me 2 hours to learn and i used 2 hands lol

  • amazing!

  • that little white girl is pretty as well as the china girl

  • dan020350 fkin pedophile lmao

  • oh dayuuum, music to my ear, great jobb~
