I thank god every year the fire didn't come into my neighborhood. The footage of people evacuating is just terrifying... We fled to petaluma, and I remember seeing the fire from the bay bridge (detour rout), it looked like the whole mountain was on fire... I was 5 years old.
i was six years old when this happen not sure why i at least remember a glimpse of this fire unless my mother had me and my siblings locked in the house, btw we live near lake merritt at the time :P
hehe kazać im gasić pożar lol znam jednego piromana co by się na to ucieszył .Przez długi czas nie wiedzieliśmy kto stodoły podpala ale potem wpadliśmy na to zawsze pierwszy był do gaszenia .
What a weird day that was ;o( - I'd gone to Oakland to pick up my Birthday present. Just remember the 'shock' I felt driving around the neighbourhood a few days' later... weird hushed silence.
i was shopping that day downtown SF with my daughter and we got home close from where we were before the smoke filled all of the air. It was horrible. I didn't know what was happening until we got home and saw the news. Folks rebuilt right in the same places. that kills me about cal here, mud slides, fires, they just don't care, rebuild anyway. Should refuse them insurance instead of ours going up to cover their dumb arses, sorry thats what it reminded me of.
W Australii co roku pali sie busz.Jesli lato jest bardzo suche, eukaliptusy pala sie jak sloma. Pozary niszcza domy ludzi mieszkajacych blisko buszu, a czesto i w buszu.
Do gaszenia pozarow zglaszaja sie ochotnicy z calego kraju. Bywa,ze gina. Gina tez zwierzeta(nie ma gorszej smierci niz w ogniu). A podpalaja busz gowniarze. Jesli ich zlapia - sa ukarani, ale australijskie prawo jest za lagodne... Co robic z podpalaczami? Wg. mnie kazac im gasic pozary, zeby zrozumieli co zrobili.
Pierwsze ujęcia zgóry miały coś z 11 września.ludzie którzy to przezyli namacalnie ,doceniają życie w inny sposób.Widzę ze długo juz jesteś w Stanach.

I live in Oakland Hills, will never forget those 3 days of horror and fear. It was hell on earth.

Właśnie też się zatrzymałam z oceną. Żywioł jest bezwględny. Bardzo mi smutno. Ta tragedia w Hiszpanii, Przyjaciele z Hiszpanii cierpią.

Z drugiej jednak strony strasznie głupio mi przyznawać gwiazdki uznając film za fantastyczny. Mam moralnego kaca.
