I would just like to know how much did you pay for that sew-in? Honestly you got fucked over and need to slap the person who did your hair, the hair doesn't match at all and looks tacky. Where did you go also, because I'll make sure to tell other not to go?
Girl, you sound like me when I do hair sometimes...I have been doing my own hair for years..and my own sew-in. I learned from my own hairdresser and watching the hair weaving process over and over and over again. I see what works for me and my face, and my hair looks much more respectable than alot of people who go to salons for weave. I take my time with my real hair and sew in slowly. Hairdressers be rushin and pullin and damaging your weave as well as ur real hair. I don't dig it.
I love this, I am currently experiencing the exact same thing as you just my natural hair is in the middle and I just can't seem to blend it with my natural hair. I totally agree with everything you said about the hairstylist.
I love it!! I think it looks great!! If she left too much out at the front, at least it gives you versatility to create some different looks at the front! You could have different partings, a side parting for a behind the ear look with the curl all around. some cornrows at the front and down the sides... it looks GOOD!! She could have split the wefts to cut down the thickness though.

Girl you ain't never lied, about the salon service. Sorry to say, but SOME of these "african american" and "african" owned salons are so rude and they could care less about healthy hair. They need to have better customer service ....for really.

Yup I know exactly how you feel. I use to go through the same crap when I went to my hair dresser. I would come to the appointment on time and she wouldn't start my hair until a hour later. Then she would start my hair then leave me to go do two other clients hair. Sometimes she would do a good job but I still would have to come home and fix my hair. Now I sew in my own weave and I'm going to start making wigs.
I hear you on going to the salon, all the anxiety and about being "that" person that says I want this and that; I am that person, too! And you shouldn't feel bad AT ALL about asking them to do what you want. You are the customer paying them all that money! And you have to live with your style for at least 2 months.The very least they can do is be willing to hear you and making an earnest effort to fulfill your wish and make you happy. I feel you on the cheap products they slap on people's head. When I USED to go to a salon, I would bring my own products. I hated going to salons, those b!tches act like they're doing their customers a favor by doing their hair. I do my own hair now with my homemade products...and my hair looks beautiful. For those who decide to go to salons, uh you're PAYING so yeah let their asses know exactly what you want. Tip, ask friends and family members about the salons they go to.

@mztempthestylizt if you think she did her hair beautifully you need to re-evaluate your idea of what a hairstyles is. The weave itself is what makes it look good, not the blending. I agree that more women should speak up on what they want but in this example it should've been common sense. She did a batch job and I would've paid her half of what she asked and told her to take me to court. Im tired of "hair stylists" pretending to know what the hell their doing just so they can get that money
i am a stylist nd i love the ones tht complain b.c there the ones tht leave happy and get exactly what they want....the quiet clients are the ones tht go behind the stylist back and talk shit about their work like u r doing...the stylist did ur hair beautifully...they jus needed to blend ur hair better...next time open ur mouth and maybe ull get the results u want instead of paying for a style ur not happy with!

It made no sense for me to be paying all that money for the styles I used to get and then have to come home and doctor them up to hide all the flaws. Its so good thatq at least we know how to fix the mistakes now and that we don't have to DEPEND ON THE DOG GONE SALONS! :) I really have enjoyed that part of being natural cause the salon was a mess.

lol the overall product was wat i knew it would be and that's so-so cause the color of your hair don't match the sew in which is messed up the weave is a 4 and Ur hair is look like its close to black and tips are and orange color the hairstyle and the sew in was nice but the colors just don't correspond to well don't well this to your job

Omg I feel the exact same way! I feel like now by me being natural I have to watch what stylist put in my hair AND I have this crazy phobia that they are gonna slap some relaxer on my edges or something and that thought alone just drives me crazy! Lol
Thanks for sharing and for future references you should two strand twist with a ribbon (to thiken the twist) so that the curls can be the same size as the weaves curls. Good luck with the style and your natural hair. Stay encouraged!

Thanks for sharing and for future references you should two strand twist with a ribbon (to thiken the twist) so that the curls can be the same size as the weaves curls. Good luck with the style and your natural hair. Stay encouraged!
