@jstancilboy1 No, this is not good job of officer, just pure luck. His car was parked at some angle, and the hit at last moment was a bit to the other side, which made parked police car spin away from straight smashing into people. Pure luck...

@yuowatcher This was not luck. ALL emergency vehicles park at an angle @ least 10 yards from the scene to protect it and all people who are working that scene. If you want proof of this look at accident scene and how those emergency vehicle are parked.

@dumskull99 Thanks for correcting me. I was correcting something I heard or red wrong, namely the claim that the wheels of parked vehicle were turned to the side off the scene. I was going to say that not the wheels (which were not), but the whole vehicle were directed away from the scene, and the point and angle of the hit also helped to divert it from the scene. And I misstated it as luck, which as you say is part of CLEVER standard procedure. Great!
