  • This was very helpful. Thank you

  • Actually my when i got my puppy us kids played with her the whole time and on the second day we were playing chase when we would chase her and shed chase us and Yoyo is one of the most obedient dogs I know

  • Im sorry but I dont agree with children being 'too' gentle or quiet around dogs. I think they need to be exposed to a LITTLE roughness, or they will grow up being afraid of loud noises and children and may lead to nipping or other aggressive/afraid behaviors

  • Poor little thing with her ears chopped off. :( What an unnecessary mutilation.

  • he ?

  • *non* dog expert??????/ o God

  • What did he say at 4:00?

  • @spaztikbetty idk this ones bigger then a pitbull? lmao idk

  • I seen a puppy that must be a eukanuba puppy. The training on this puppy"Viper bulldog" is mind blowing. 11 weeks old and to be obedience and protection trained with control is unreal, watch in for yourself thats "viper bulldog".

  • @k9enthusiast There's actually a lot wrong with those videos. His crate is outside and he's 11 weeks old. He is at risk of developing barrier frustration and catching various airborne virus' like distemper. Teaching a dog protection work at 11 weeks is also detrimental to their developmental stage. Unless he's training it for the military, I don't see the point of what he's doing. He has no regard for the dog's health. At all.

  • @k9enthusiast what about pinball , which is the stupidest question ever (and i know he's being sarcastic)

  • 0:01 - 0:13 That music made this a somewhat epic intro.

  • thanx u guys help alot im getting a pup soon:)cant wait!! :D

  • the music is really annoying

  • what is with these people, play with a puppy 20 minutes a day then put it in the crate the rest of the day. TRAIN your dog, you don't really have to teach them all those cool tricks and stuff, but train them to use the bathroom outside. Also a few "mistakes" are inevitable. Let a dog be a dog, if kids wanna play tug of war, safely of course, making sure not to hurt the dog, then what is the problem. Idiots trying to take the fun out of life, BTW, eukanuba is not really the best brand of food.

  • hey does anybody know what kind of dog is at 0:03

  • @GGGGJohan

dachshund idk if i spelled it right. its a wiener dog

  • @TheAirbusGuy woops i meant the dog before that one the white and grey one

  • @GGGGJohan

I think thats a blood hound but im not entirely sure

  • @GGGGJohan its an australlian shepard i luv dogs! :)

  • dont feed your dogs Iams, Beneful, purina, pedigree ,ect they are bad foods and cause stress in kidneys and other illness

  • @smiley121able how do you know ??

  • Martin Deeley, a really great guy.

  • No tug-o-war? I thought dogs loved that.

  • why kind of dog is the puppy?

  • @PatrickStarIsTheStar Looks like a Mini Schnauzer puppy.

  • LMAO Eukanuba / you can do meh

  • I dont' give my puppy every thing but eukanuba dog food1

  • my kitchen is to small should i leave a crate in the living room? my family mostly hangs out there

  • @dotdot3polkadots living room yea

  • B.S!! Tug of war Wresting are PERFECT for a puppy , my cousins need to train there labrador with tug of war, the mother of the puppy is naturally supposed to wrestle the puppy when its young so that they get used to it so they can play and be a normal playful puppy when they get older, i have 3 puppies and my cousins have 2 and my family has had 10 and they have all done this so have my friends

  • is chloe a minature shanuzer?

  • @bashie1234

Puppy mills are breeding places that only care about breeding the dogs. They are usually placed in crates stacked on top of the other and when they go to the bathroom, they are going on the other dogs heads. Many of the animals get sick because the people there don't care about hygiene, they just want the money. It is very horrible and the only way to really stop them is to stop buying dogs from them :(

  • @Lovegoddess999 Actually, no your wrong they give the dogs a walk and they go to the bathroom in the mills, its just a dog instinct, and every dog has this instinct, they dont do there buisness where they sleep. Thats also how cage training works, they dont do buisness were they sleep, then soon when they get caged for a while and then assossiate the new room or whatever with the cage.

  • Go to akc and breeder referal or something

  • Well, you can always try this website called puppyfind oh and if you want to learn more about certain dog breeds try terrificpets.

  • you are welcome. So what you going to name it?

  • It just means that they are starting to eat dog food and needing their mother less.

  • i have a bichon that DOES NOT WANT TO USE THE OUTSIDE BATHROOM!!

  • weening mean to switch a puppy from its mothers milk to puppy food :)

  • Probably. It just all depends on how ready the puppy is to leave his or her mother. Between 4 and 5 weeks the mother will gradually spend time away from her puppies (Also that is when the weening starts) so five weeks should be okay.

  • You shouldn't bring a puppy home when it is four weeks old. They are not ready to leave their mother even if they aare eating dog food. You should look at Dogs101: First Four Weeks

  • heh...i brought my yorkie home wen it was about 3 weeks....does that hav anything to do with her health? cuz 2 tell the truth, it was the only yorkie there and i just HAD 2 get a yorkie. i hope it doesnt die horribly, just cuz of my selfish-ness 0.0

  • Make sure to give your puppy limits and boundaries. Show the little one that you are the pack leader and try not to let them get away with to many things just because it looks cute. (Okay why do I feel like I sound like the Dog Whisperer? Lol)

  • i can try that, but i'm not sure i can withstand the deadly wep. of the innocent puppy stare o_o

  • You can do it. I know how hard it is.

  • see a real dog. search "rottweiler mindy" in the search box.

  • Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

  • nice music

  • this dude is the bomb

  • Nice Vid. :D

  • that fool has smaller eyes then me and im asian

  • lol

  • @chooechooe LOL!

  • @chooechooe hey where can i buy a beagle

  • @dontrell360 wtf why u askin me about that?

  • @dontrell360 from a breeder.. my aunt is a pitbull breeder so im gonna get one pretty soon

  • @dontrell360 CraigslisT!!

  • we have 5 cockers and 3 are rescues, soooo loving, is a shame what folks do to dogs, just want love and attenetion, is sooooooooo rewarding to resuce a dog and just have a bit of patience with them, once they come around, are soooo loving and appreciative!

  • i know.thats so majorly messed up.how can the thought of even hitting a dog cross their mind??

  • Adopt from the animal shelter. There are sooooo many dogs without homes it is really sad and they appreciate it when you do adopt them. I have the best dog that I got at a shelter and shes really cute, check her out, search crossbreed cockapoo, shes black.

  • Yes, PUPPYMILLS breed only for profit and do not breed for the overall well being of the breed. Responsible, ethical breeders breed to make their breed of choice BETTER and healthier.

If nobody bred dogs anymore they would become EXTINCT.

  • Great video! Very helpfull, Thanks!

  • Eukanuba performs tests on animals and their food is not quality food for keeping a healthy happy dog. Read up on nutrition from nutritionists not dog food companies. Vets could have elected to take a nutrition class but most dont and those classes are likely taught by reps from Iams/Eukanuba/Hill's. Adopt or rescue a dog or you are supporting the horrendous treatment of their mothers and fathers in puppy mills.

  • I GOT A GERMAN SHEPHERD TODAY!!!

  • well go do things with it dont be doing crap on youtube

  • I'm getting two Pomeranians at the end of September :)

Also about pet stores, the puppy mill issue is mostly true. My friend bought a puppy from a store and 2 months later it had some weird issue with its heart. They had to put her down unfortunately =/

  • omg i saw one of those before and he tried to kill me but i m getting a malti-poo or a toy poodle on saturday

  • Im getting a pitbull tomorrow! :D

  • Im getting a pomeranian tomorrow!

  • Martin is no idiot in fact that puppy chasing part is important and supervision is needed. Jon and Kates dog has already swallowed a toy and needed an opperation. I have to watch ours around grass.

  • adopt one.....dont get it from pet stores because chances are.. they get them from puppy mills. google it and u'll realize how terrible puppy mills are.

  • omg schnauzer i have one

  • if you want a puupy get one from a shelter or a breeder cause pet stores (not all of them) get theirs from puppy mills

  • I agree.

  • @lightningthehamster what are mills?

  • @lightningthehamster wait if you don't want the puppy to be tortured, wouldnt you get one from the pet store so one less tortured puppy?

  • @lightningthehamster whats a puppy mil?

  • this guys an idiot. hes refurring to all dogs when he should be referring to lower activity dog breeds. 15-20 min play time only LOL!

  • i am maybe getting a puppy named lilly! she is so cute ! =]

  • i might be getting one really soon i cant wait

  • thanks this is helpful...

    ~IwantReeses~

  • go to the animal shelters. dont go to the pet stores, they get their dogs from puppy mills.

  • get one from a breeder, that's the best bet

  • What if your mother came home with a stray and you have a cat and a dog at home already? My mom found her on the street and took her home so she wouldn't get run over. We don't want to take her to the pound. But, we're not going to keep her. How should we make her comfortable for a couple of days. We need to house-break her too. I tried doing the normal, praising when she goes outside, but, she won't go to the restroom outside. I tell her no when she goes inside but it doesn't work. She still go

  • take her to a adoption agency, x10 better then pounds as they actually stay in homes and not in boxes.

  • A MINIATURE SCHNAUZERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR i love

  • Comment removed

  • 5 Stars. That's such a sweet puppy!

  • my favorite part is 1:05 because her little tongue juss rolls out! its so cute!

  • when people get a puppy they don,t realized they have to train it and then they want to get rid of the dogs that why you see more dogs in shelter it the owner respondable to learn about it before they bring one home

  • Hello, We just got a lab mix about 3 months old. We're having problems getting her to use the bathroom. When we take her out, she refuses to walk. Inside she does not use her pad, she instead goes next to it. Please any suggestions? I really need them otherwise my parents say that we will have to give her up.

  • take her outside tie her to a post and leave for about 5 mins

dogs need privacy too when the go to the bathrom

  • have you considered crate training

  • Take a treat out and every time your puppy goes to the bathroom reward them and praise them tell them how good they are time them and take em out every 30 minutes when he goes in a bad spot tell him no and take him outside right away or even try to catch them before they go and then see if they go outside XD

  • cute puppy

  • i think that some way those puppies are going to end up at the shelter or ,dead

but maby they will see they cant get costemers and stop or maby not.

  • i was told not to walk my dog until she gets all her shots rabies being the last one so i havent got her a leash or harness yet cuz idk how big she will get

  • its actually best to get a pup used to the leash and walking him or her around otherwise u are going to have a hard time with the dog pulling on the leash and the dog will be walking you and not the other way around. you can also get her used to the leash by walking her inside the house if your worried about her having all her shots.

  • yes but by the vet and state law u can not walk a dog outside on a leash with out his/her vaccinations they need the tag stating they have it all once they have that than u can teach them to walk outside I have been doing this for years if I get caught without the tag I get a federal law ticket...plus I don't want my dog getting a sickness from a stray dog's marking...

  • well as i said u can get her used to the leash by teaching her to walk on it inside ur house if u are worried about her getting sick from other dogs and if u have a fenced in back yard will do too. so when u are allowed to walk her around the neighborhood she will already know what to do since u said she may be a big dog it will be easier to control her if shes been used to the leash at a young age. just trying to help i know how hard it is to walk a dog that has never been on a leash before.

  • thanks!

  • oh and about "if there were no breeders then dogs would go extinct" absolutely NOT true. there will ALWAYS be un-neutered strays and accidental litters. There really, right now, is no need to breed or buy any pet. if you think otherwise, tell that to the 4 million dogs that are going to be euthanized this year from overpopulation.

  • i think that guy was talking about the the breed itself will go extinct, not the whole race of dogs. if we don't have people to keep the breeds blood line pure in the future there will be no such thing as a pure bred pug or poodle. every dog will be a mutt. i also agree that there is an over population problem and there always will be but i believe it should be handled better than it has been.

  • im seriously wondering why you are complaining about an overpopulation problem in DOGS when if you take a step back and look at the whole world. WE, humans, overpopulate the world by a large margin. its sickening really... there should be like a mass plague and half the world population of humans should die, then the world would be a better place.

  • yeah haha. but as more humans move in, and our population grows, then more and more dogs are bred for homes, more and more dogs are then left wondering the streets. i think there are too many humans, but also too many dogs without a home

  • I think a big part of it is just stupid people who take on animals without knowing a single thing about them and expecting it to be easy. Not only that, puppy mills and irresponsible breeders are going too far. Shelters are having trouble taking on so many new animals every day. Its heartbreaking.

  • i know. it is so terrible :( i wish there was more that i could do. i hate when i hear of some uneducated people who bought themselves a little toy pup one day spontaneously from a pet shop. i hate to think of all the people who are unknowingly supporting puppy mills. laws should be stricter about breeders and puppy mills.

  • @lenalena11

Before animals lived in the wild, and they were fine.

I obviously think you need to research this a bit more, animals can live even more happy lives outside in freedom, then trapped as lapdogs at home.

  • We have bred them to be companion animals. Now, we must take care of them.

  • Ah, the dreaded human race.

  • jazzybee445, would you rather kill a dog or save a dog? this is the question you need to ask yourself before choosing a dog or any pet. if you support breeders then they will breed again. it's a vicious cycle. however if you adopt, then you save a life and you will know that you haven't contributed to the chance that a dog from a breeder will be brought to a shelter. you can't possibly save every dog a breeder produces but you CAN save a dog at shelter and not contribute to a horrible cycle.

  • Hey Eukanuba (owned by Iams??), I have a VERY painful question I HAVE to ask you. Okay, here it goes.......: "What if you have a CAT, or other non-dog pet, at home? Sometimes, it's too difficult to separate a relationship between your new puppy and, what I have, a cat, that you've kept years before you adopted your puppy!!!!!" PLZ HELP ME WITH THAT QUESTION!!!!!!! ;-( Bye!

  • my brother that 11 is get a mini schnauzer puppy

  • at my family's animal rescue we recently took in three shih tzu puppies from an animal shelter if anyone's interested and lives nearby.

  • hey where are you?

  • where are you located

  • i'm getting a puppy today!! these tips helped thanks!

  • congrats! what breed?

  • if you're going to consider a puppy or dog definitely go to a SHELTER or RESCUE. don't BUY from pet stores or breeders. this is contributing to pet overpopulation and killing dogs in shelters that need a home.

  • yeah! what happeneds to the dogs that have been bred?? they will end up not having a home and end up in shelters, bred dogs need homes too and if breeders stopped breeding dogs then we would suffer from dog extinction! If it was so freakin difficult to obtain dogs from shelters then maybe there wouldnt be so many dogs in them!

  • aw, I should have watched this vid before we brought home our 2 puppies. I'll see what I can do to get this out to help others, though. thanks for making it :-) sweet idea.

  • A "non dog" expert

  • im getting a new puppy in a week and 1/2! yay!!! on the 27 or 29th of november!!! a little shih tzu puppy a girl and im naming it lydia (lidia is how its pronounced)
