I have the blue version that came with Bonecrusher, and his missile cannon won't work in truck mode. The way you're showing it is BACKWARDS from how mine works. It fires from the other end. Are you just supposed to shove it in there for storage?

You can only use rubbing alcohol when the rest of the figure you are using it on is colored plastic,not painted plastic!

The recon Ironhide is missing the two original guns that the 2007 and the 2009 figure had. It also doesn't have the blue translucent (I hope I spelled that right) windows. But overall, it looks like a badass figure. It kind of reminds me of the classic version of Jetfire with alll the guns.

I just remembered this. In ROTF we see Ratchet with a gun in a nice pose leaning on one knee. Well that showed me that my voyager Ratchet needed a gun well Jungle Ironhide fixed that too. If you take the shorter war gun it can tab into the leftfore arm of ROTF voyager Ratchet right where you tab in his open cage claw weapon which is a nice discovery. So Recon Ironhide is a great way to enhance your ROTF collection in many ways. : )

I picked this figure up last Saturday to complete my rotf Ironhide in truck mode by mounting his two arm guns to the under carriage in truck mode and have the rotf ironhide arm guns now mounted on jungle ironhide his head is now painted to match his dark black body with movie accurate detail using silver and gold paint apps and his backpack is flipped around to where the bars are hidden he is now my top ironhide on display and completed my other one that is painted black and silver not grey.
