@hectorpzharris I only use two fingers. Dunno if there's a special technique for it, but i let the middle finger do most of the job..like, middle-middle-index, middle-middle-index, middle-middle-index, etc. in the gallop-pattern 8th-16th-16th, 8th-16th-16th

@The9thGeneral It should have a little buzzing, but not a crazy amount. If your bass buzzes like hell even on the 5th fret, either your neck or bridge needs to be calibrated. I would bring it to an expert for a diagnosis and maybe a fix too.

when you want to give to the song a bright ambient, finger in the area you're doing it. But, when you want to give "weight" to the song, use to finger the Pickups area of you bass. Apparently, it looked great, but it didn't sounded that good at all... just an advice to you. Anyways, great job ^^

rounds will always sound brighter than flats, though i can make the flats kinda trebly with the right EQ settings. got to be roto flats then, they're brighter than any other flats i've tried. boiling the strings can work if you're on a budget:P at least for a limited period of time..

I guess starting out by playing some slower triplet-feel songs by maiden, (or any other band) and practicing with a metronome should do the trick..gradually increase tempo and so on.
