The DB actually has his eye on the ball. I wish 2k could make a NCAA games to boost the competition. I personally would like to see college classics back in the game along with mini games.
Great Vid Sim, You are constently putting out good videos with senseable outcomes. I think the addition of old college football players give the EA Sprots team a perspective of actual players is what i think EA Football is missing. I know people like it and I respect that, but it's not the standard in my mind by a long shot.
There was never anything wrong with Backbreakers engine. Madden is an example of skilled developers working on a broken engine while BB was an example of broken devs working with a great engine.

EA has no leg to stand on just because it's the ONLY officially lisenced football game on the market!!! I'll judge the game not by a publically released demo, but the full, final released version of the game. If it's good, I'll give props, if not....NEXT!!!!
It just irritates me that I can throw an accurately placed pass and the LB jumps high in the air to swat it down, And every time I lob the ball It gets overthrown and intercepted. Deep throw accuracy does not matter in Madden 12 because even the worst QB can throw an accurate deep ball, its stupid.
I think EA in the past just chose to not give the gamers what they want. EA is smarter than people think. They know Madden is not up to par. The real question is do they really care. We get empty promises every year. Soooo I'm not that optimistic. But I will say Madden 12 is fun and I do play it often. Good Video Sim!

Defensive Line interactions is my biggest problem with Madden 12. Speed rush and the ability to beat your man while he still has contact is a big part of football. Offensive tackles in Madden 12 slide way too fast and don't create a pocket when they're blocking. Also, pass-rush moves should be definite. One input should create a rip move, another input should create a swim move etc., i.e 2k Football. If they fix that and their Create-A-Superstar mode, I would be pleased.
It's progress. But I am not trying to get my hopes up just yet. It's just a wait and see. Now you have an Auburn running back who is now the head of RTG mode. I think next drills will be added because it tends to get tiring after awhile lol.

The Sim market is a small percentage. when i was 14 i didn't care about that stuff i just wanted to play with my team the 49ers. but now that im 22 and i understand the game more i want a change. Unfortunately like i said were a small percentage. Nice play though, i can never get that to work online =p
TBH,I'm not looking going to put too much hope into this I honestly think if Madden or Ncaa are going to make any progress it will be next gen.Also one of EA biggest problem is that there modes gets boring really quick,RTG and Superstar are boring if there not going to fix the gameplay than at least make your Modes fun
I understand exactly what youre talking about. Its the simple things like the struggle for position at the line. The way he pushes off the CB then the trajectory of the ball hits before the CB catches up. In Maddne the CB would be right there to bat the ball down or intercept it.
I believe that this is a great aspect and they def. should do this with Madden but who knows. NCAA makes bigger strides than Madden every year. I think this will help the game from a different aspect that no one has seen it.

Honestly, if they were to take a look at vids on the sim standard then they would understand what they need to do. I know they watch these vids and they just don't choose to follow them all the way through. Madden 13 will only be so much better. It's said but, we'll have to wait till a next gen console before we can make any progress. By then we'll hopefulyl have another competetitor.
